Have never seen this amount of negative reviews on M+ on the forums before.
For me personally I like this M+ season for a few reasons, but I can definitely see why it’s very hated in regards to most of the population that plays M+.
And most importantly - it’s another reflection of Blizzard simply not listening to their playerbase. I’ve noticed my friends list has been getting very, very thin on recently active users, a lot of people are simply opting out.
NGL, I’m kinda hoping M+ just crashes and burns, and in Midnight we change Heroics back to Heroics and get away from the complaining and toxicity that M+ inevitably brings with it.
DF season 1 was still worse.
People just can’t cope well.

I can’t decide whether I dislike this or DF S1 more. I’m doing fine, but I just DON’T LIKE IT. I don’t like the same key level being for portals and max vault. It’s burning me out.
Well what would you guys like to see if you could have any changes no matter how wild and crazy?
Either max vault is moved to 8 or 9, OR left at 10, but 10s are more like DF S4 10s or S3 20s.
15 second death affix moved to 12s.
Siege and necrotic wake are annoying dungeons, and the orbs thing is terrible because they spawn in the middle of mechanics and you can’t always safely or even feasibly get them.
I want them to scrap Mythic + and make delves that are as large as Mauradon or Dire Maul or Blackrock Mountain that we can explore, get really lost in, really delve into.
(Just kidding. I don’t think they should scrap m+)

I don’t even have to peek at your armory and achievements to know that you’re a solo player.
Maybe in the top 5, but infested season, beguling season, some would argue s1 shadowlands, and definately s1 dragonflight are better holders of the title. In retrospect s1 is always awful due to the ilvl gap at the start. This season is a case of steps forward and steps backward, but the good ideas have the makings of some solid later seasons if blizzard just stops being stingy with reward structures. Next season is almost guaranteed to be a better dungeon pool just for not having the wake and siege. It would take active trolling to get a worse side pool then the current one.
A deterministic way to upgrade a gear to myth track through burning coins earned through myth track slots and one natty random piece of gear as myth track as a weekly reward for finishing an 11 or 12. The removal of the 15 second death timer OR dungeons having spawn zones that are 10 seconds away from the action. If the xalatath affixes stay the orbs do not spawn during bosses, if the xalatath affixes are seasonal affixes that do not add new mechancis to boss fights they might not actually mesh with at semirandom times. Last but not least an achievement above ksh for clearing all keys on 12 to give something for the people who can push 10s but can’t or won’t push title.
Given most of the content is something other than M+, I can only imagine its popularity is based on the 841,233 complaint threads on this forum which are frequented by the same 51 folks who love to argue and correct each other.
I can think of a worse dungeon lineup than this one, but I don’t really wanna say it because it might be bad luck.
I am PRIMARILY a solo player mostly because of this community. I still run heroics and old content with friends and guildmates but have no desire to even step foot into current content of M+ or Heroic Raiding because of the way players who are strangers treat one another. My profile is public and WIDE open. I don’t play wow to impress others. I play wow to relax and enjoy the PvE and RP.
That’s what all of them say, there’s one common denominator in this nonsense of “everyone is toxic except me” and that’s you.
Then why care about m+ at all. By that logic I should start campaigning to end lfr and other queue pve because I don’t want to associate with the people who do queue pve content.
