I just picked up Child of Light from Steam in a sale; I’ve been looking forward to that one. It’s a busy weekend, though, it’ll be a while yet before I can spare the time to dive into a new game.
I’m venturing within the realm of Tamriel at the moment within ESO on my Dunmer. At the same time I’ve been playing Hades off and on, and maybe some random indie games every now and then.
I just played SOMA earlier and it was a bit of a trip.
I only work six hour shifts, most often in the morning proper. 7am-1pm, sometimes 10-4’s but rarely later than that.
I multi-task a lot. I’m using a voice-to-text program to come up with stuff for the tabletop group and ye olde novellas, I’ve got a game on (WoW, ARK or Alien Isolation right now), I’ll generally have a podcast running in the background and I’ve also got Discord running to chat with folks and for people to easily message me information. It’s easy to do once you get the hang of it, and quite frankly just playing a game without anything else going on bores me to tears.
i look up guides to get the cool stuff as fast as i can
also i work fast to have more spare time
This has been my week.
I recently had a massive binge of SWTOR. Played a Light-Side Sith Warrior, under the story-trope of being an Alderaanian noble who prizes honor over the Sith Code - though still tries to embrace both in a heretical way. Passion for a good cause, the strength to commit to an ideal, the power to see it put into place, and the planned victory of the character’s cause, after which the chains would be broken I’m probably doing Sith very wrong, but I had great fun putting a Light-Side spin on things while trying to make RP sense.
I also got into Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I personally enjoyed Skyrim more, but I had fun being an Oblivion Stealth Archer. Did NOT expect to become a Daedra though. That was pretty nifty. That said, the Daedra of madness seems a good fit for a hero who can save the world at the same time as being a crazy assassin vampire, right?
But I’m a tad over both of those at the moment, so I’m gonna try to slip back into WoW! I find myself less enthused than usual, and fear my interest in WoW (which has been my favourite game since 2011, and my favourite lore universe since friggen 2007 when i got Warcraft 3) is dwindling, which I somehow never thought it would do. But hey, I’ll give it a crack… and if the time comes to say goodbye, then so be it.
S A M E. An absolutely amazing time, too.
This B run i managed to trigger the infamous Double X glitch and they flank.
I haven’t had anything that bad just yet, but Claire B is probably the worst experience I’ve had in the game thus far. That revolver is just garbage.
The revolver is comedy.
Lightly taps the fire button
Zombie - Gets hit in the head and flops backwards as five more bullets harmlessly fly over head
And it takes for god damn ever to reload.
I am having an unfortunate experience RPing in Conan Exiles.
I’m over there to support a guildie who’s really enthused about it, but the admin team is the worst I’ve ever seen. They make decisions and then go back on them. The server votes on not doing something but the admins do it, anyway. They hold important IC events with little to no notice and then just announce the IC decisions to people who might have wanted to be involved.
The drama level is ridiculous - 2-day long arguments over Discord that fix nothing. Nasty comments in the in-game chat that then get denied. Players taking IC actions OOCly and making some of the most offensive comments I’ve ever seen.
Makes WoW look like the golden child.
I’m currently looking for another PC game as my side game. I was in FFXIV for awhile, but I don’t want two subscriptions. I’m actually wanting a single player game, and it’s not often I play those.
I resubbed to WoW because I am weak, but I have been taking my time enjoying KH3. I’m alos still mucking about every so often in GTA Online and am building my collection of waifus - err, I mean heroes - in FEH.
Finished a Claire B run on Assist for fun to try out my infinite ammo samurai edge.
To finish up the game i need to S rank hardcore but i don’t see myself making that 2 hours 30 timer my best run on standard was 2 hours 51 minutes.
On the switch side of things i picked up a roguelike called Tangledeep and i’m enjoying it a lot and in 9 days this little gem come’s out
I desperately want to get into a Conan RP Server but the lack of magic annoys me.
How the heck am I supposed to make a Set-worshipping Sorcerer to pester and annoy all the sweaty muscle-men grunting about Crom and wenches by setting their Dancing Slaves on fire?
I know it’s supposed to be coming, but it’s not in game yet.
We’ve been playing with the Age of Calamitous mod, which is not bad but it makes it a lot less Conan.
The only thing i know about Conan exiles is that it spawned a lot of dong memes.
I’ll stick to my old dos conan games.
i played smash for like 5 hours last night without even realising it @_@
also people who lame it out and leave after one loss: die
To be fair, the Conan universe is low fantasy and there is very little magic. That was one thing that really disappointed me about Age of Conan, there was just far too much magic. It was a fun game though and the zones were beautiful.
