Yeah I know, I played Exiles until just before the Asian themed content was added. I’m just talking Conan universe in general. That’s one major flaw of the games where they break away from the source material. They always gotta add far too much magic. I’m waiting for the day when someone develops a deep melee combat Conan title.

I’ve been playing a nice mix of Season 16 in Diablo III as well as powering through the most current Zelda game on my Switch. Getting a Switch for myself this past Christmas was one of the best gifts I could have gotten for myself and I’ve loved it every moment since I’ve had it.

I’ve only just now heard about Outward and, man, I hope it lives up to what it’s promising. I absolutely love the idea of just being a regular adventurer in a big fantasy world, and having to manage the minutia of eating, sleeping, drinking, avoiding disease, etc.

I finally beat the Arishok in Dragon Age II. It’s not that it took me a year and a half of trying, it’s just that I tried for a couple days, gave up, and lacked the drive to get back to it for a year and a half.

So now I get to finish the story, which I have actually managed not to spoil myself to oblivion on! I’m actually pretty excited.

The only difference between this and my actual experience was that Isabella had abandoned me by this point and we were fighting over the city instead.

Hitbox weirdness didn’t help me, either.

Arishok: gears up for an apparently front-facing charge
Me: standing to his left and slightly behind him
Me: gets knocked all the way across the room

I know there’s a lot of new hotness going on right now, but aside from KH3 which I’ve been loving I’ve also been replaying a handful of games. One of which is Ico. Man, what a game. A simple premise, simple game play, all masterfully wrapped up into one package.

I’ve loved the other team Ico games (Shadow of Colossus and The Last Guardian), but man nothing quite beats Ico for me. I must’ve replayed it over a dozen times in the years since I first discovered the game.

Great world building and a plot you can summarize in a few paragraphs. Everything about it is so atmospheric. The soundtrack isn’t overbearing, the ambience really fits the mood of the game. And on top of that it’s a weird platforming, puzzle, escort quest. The graphics are still good, especially in the remaster which I got. Also, this track in particular is my favorite. If you never played the game it’s worth a look.

Also Guild Wars 2 to which I play as Charr :cow::ox::cow2: their equivalent to the Tauren race in WOW. Four player Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Eventually! It’s one of the ones I want. The new Zelda and a couple of the Mario titles are higher on my list, though.

Oh god yes the run was a utter nightmare. I managed to get to the sewers before continuing became just too much

I haven’t touched hardcore yet but I’ve managed a 1:57:23 with Leon A Standard. Might give Hardcore a shot tonight.
