The WoW sub count has dropped 41% since Shadowlands launch

You are now 93% of the playerbase.
Also Classic should account for 99.99% of all Mau’s.

That’s mostly because of the rising tide lifts all boats stock market boom and the 43% yoy increase in Activison Pub (mostly CoD) revenues during 2020.

I’m a bit behind on renown - I just didn’t care enough to keep on top of it - but it is something I’d like to complete. I’ll be a week behind most people - but once it’s done I can retire from this game in its current state.

If they bring flying and some new areas and something interesting in a new patch I’ll consider a month-to-month resub - but for now, I’ll never do that 6 month commitment again. I feel a little bit scammed to be honest.

The game is enjoyable. The customer support is non existent. Worst customer support I’ve ever experienced. I’ve received better customer support at the DMV and Taco Bell. Before Activision era Blizzard, the customer support was wonderful. They did whatever they could to make the customer happy and improve the situation. Now, it’s always “sorry you’re not getting the response you’ve hoped for”, followed by “we can’t do anything for you”. Shame. You’d have an amazing product overall if your customer support actually gave a darn about it’s customers.

It was all that was worth adding. The dude dug this post up 5 months later, lol.

Goblins are always a little slow on the draw.

So… was that ‘yes’?

Did it ever occur to you this is the first time I’ve seen this forum post? I didn’t dig up the post, but you sure did. I happened to google it and decided to put in my feedback. You must be one of those people who have nothing better to do than live on here. 5 months later, and you’re responding to my comment. Ironic.

Purely for the amusement of the others, Memento here got a couple blue responses that specifically and explicitly refute the assertions regarding what GMs do now versus years ago he continues to make in various forums.

I can only hope that bruised ego heals up in these next five months.
