Both are equally boring imo.
Wrong, the banshee queen is more the splittered part of her soul, her soul isnÂŽt whole, like every undead, its only a part of her whole Spirit. A part who was filled with dark magic and is only capable to use a part of her emotional feelings.
Where do you think you are? who do you think you are talking to?
Well, what past villain would you have preferred to win?
Honestly? Sargeras. Guy knew WoW lore was beyond redemption so ending it all sounds like a logical choice.
Stop using Anduin as your free pass.
You are essentially expecting the boy she took on the role of Arthas for to forgive her, when she could never be expected to do the same for Arthas. Because she is her Arthas in those parallels. You are also expecting his empathy to overcome the horrific things sheâs done (despite her victims); when that would be the equivelant of him forgiving Arthas (and giving Arthas a redemptive chance) despite Sylvie. You do get that donât you?
Okay? None of what you have just said proves that she hated having a personality cult though. Even if I were to give you the benefit of the doubt and accept your interpretation as reality, then it sounds like she would be apathetic to the idea at best, since it is all just a projection to her.
Donât you? Because it takes a whole lot of cherry picking to twist that story into a positive bit of characterization for her. How many novels of fanfic did you âread between the linesâ of that story to not have her come out of it looking like a horrific person?
April fools was yesterday. its april the 3rd in my country but just 23 min into it.
Please.
The gameâs given us hardly anything new to talk about and even less to speculate over until the next patch and I think weâre all kinda running on fumes here. I guess we could argue about Kyrians or something but that topic doesnât do well either.
if you are really this bored of World of Warcraft why are you still here?
Find something that makes you happy.
Ok, maybe thatâs fair. But when it comes to that short story⊠I feel like it could have itâs own book club. I donât think any productive discussion (which occasionally does happen on story forum) about this story will happen unless itâs really broken down in a methodical way.
Arthas, NâZoth, Illidan, would be interesting options.
NâZoth, what would happened if the Old God rebuild the black empire and grow from new, beside azeroths corruption, how would the other cosmic forces react?
Arthas, we as Arthas champions, as the Champions of the lichking, maybe we would be used to invade the maw and kill the Jailer?
Illidan, what whould happened if he wins.
Steve debunked the split soul thing in a Blizzconline interview. Itâs not the result of a split soul. Sheâs just multidimensional.
???
How is that relevant to what I posted? They are both terrible characters.
Okay itâs obvious that a bunch of us are camping this thread so I propose that we all start typing random gibberish in the post creation window so we can see how many mini-avatars we can line up in a row at the bottom of the thread.
Ready Set Go
Of course not, the discussion atm is just quite circular going back and forth,
but in case of undeads, they are damaged, they are not whole again.
if I were to give you the benefit of the doubt, if she does absolutely love having a cult following how does that make her an evil person?
Itâs just means sheâs vain⊠and she admits to being vain. She owns it, is being vain a crime?
Kaelâthas is also vain, most blood elves are vain, it seems to be a virtue for the Venthyr, even the good ones. Why is Sylvanasâs vanity more deserving of scrutiny?
I donât cherry pick Edge of Night, I just look at the whole thing. Honestly, I used to feel the same way about it you do, but my opinions about it have changed.
I donât think it necessarily pours out all this positive characterization for Sylvanas, but I think that if you only see the bad, then you arenât reading carefully enough.
