Similar thing, i play with a U.S account from the UK , the client will only load a EU starter account from the client.

open your wow file folder select retail inside the folder open the game. once its open put in your login details and then your account will appear

The account I don’t see on my end is the one I last logged into. The others are showing up fine.

Mine is also gone had to log on via the wow EXE hope they fix this soon

GOOD. After ten thousand years I’m finally free! I can now get to my main account. It didn’t fix the bug in the launcher, but it solved MY problem.

Looks like my WoW1 is only missing in Retail, but it appears when I select Classic.

Same. Nearly caused me a heart attack since even with my authenticator and everything about once a year someone contacts Blizzard and convinces them it’s THEIR account.

Yup same for me had to check the leaderboards to see if my character still existed was thinking i was banned or something, glad to see that not the case hope they fix this soon

Add me to this list, retail from the launcher is defaulting to the “starter account” I’ve never used and not letting me log in with my main account.
Had a mini meltdown like everyone else thinking I was hacked and everything deleted. You can thankfully still see your main account under Games & Subscriptions on your Battle.net account page.
Good to know this is just an error on Blizz’s end… but yeesh what an error

I have the same issue, the Account Selector drop down is gone from the battle launcher, and is defaulted to the starter account. I checked my website account page and all is still in order. Found this thread when I tried to google the issue. Kinda relieved it’s not just me.
nope, still just starts a starter EU client instead of the U.S one ive been playing since BC.

Same thing happened to me, it only shows my starter edition account. What seems to be working is just logging in manually from the in-game login screen. I hope they fix this soon, it sure is a scare D:
It asks me for my authenticator code but not getting the pop-up from the app either.
