Horde Saurok are among a few things Iām hoping to see underneath my Winter Veil tree! As well as more character slots on my account, of course.

So a weird thing about Winter Veil is that it appears the sleigh ride isnāt showing up on any of my Horde characters in Orgrimmar. It does appear in Ironforge on my Alliance characters, so I donāt know if it is bugged or what. Hopefully, itāll get fixed in the near future so I can take some festive screenshots with it.
In the meantime, there are other aspects of Winter Veil Iāll be taking some screenshots of! Here is one I took today:
A Saurok ambassador meets with Greatfather Winter. He hopes he has been a good Saurok all year around, as he wants to ask for an invitation to the Horde for his tribe as his Winter Veil gift!
Still hoping to see Horde Saurok appear underneath my Winter Veil tree. Iām sure Saurok would enjoy the holiday and all the food involved if they were given the chance!

Despite the rocky year, Iām still keeping hope for playable Horde Saurok to become a reality someday. With any luck, we may see them get some love and become champions of the Horde someday!

Hoping for the presents (this is a purposeful wrong useage) of Saurok someday for us on the Horde. As I continue to say, they have very rich lore & story potential. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, the sleigh ride in Orgrimmar still seems broken. It vanished completely, appeared again yesterday (21st), and then vanished completely again today (22nd). I put in another bug report in-game and if it doesnāt appear again by tomorrow, Iāll consider making a post about it on the Bug Report forum.
In the meantime, I still have other ideas for festive screenshots! This is what I took:
The Saurok ambassador checks out the selection at the Smokywoods Pasture. There are a lot of interesting and tempting foods sold here!
The Saurok ambassador sits down and devours on all the food he bought. Nothing like munching on some holiday food in front of a warm fire!
The Saurok ambassador decides to take a quick nap. Heāll need all the energy he can get to explore all the other events going on for Winter Veil!
Still hoping Saurok will be able to celebrate Winter Veil with the Horde someday!

The sleigh ride in Orgrimmar has been fixed!..at least for now. However, I went ahead and took screenshots with it for a few races.
Some things to note is that the Saurok with the banner model is a bit big to the point that his feet and tail do stick through the sleigh ride. Also, since he uses the male Worgen model, he tends to howl throughout the sleigh ride. I consider it just excitement and having a lot of fun.
Anyway, here is what I came up with:
The Saurok ambassador notices something flying around. Itās something he has never seen before, but he notices members of the Horde are having fun riding it! He waits patiently for his turn.
Getting on the ride, he settles in as his role of Santa Saurok!
And away he goes! Off to deliver presents to the good members of the Horde and for all good little Saurok too!
The sleigh ride is a lot of fun!
So much fun, that the Saurok ambassador howls with excitement!
And so the ride ends, but the memories will last. The Saurok ambassador is excited to report back to his tribe about all the fun he had during Winter Veil!

I hope everyone had a great Winter Veil yesterday!
The sleigh ride in Orgrimmar seems to have disappeared completely again for a third time for some reason. Iāve put in a bug report both in-game and on the Bug Report section of the forums. Hopefully, it will get fixed so people can enjoy it before Winter Veil ends in-game.
On another note, I took a couple more festive screenshots:
The Saurok ambassador looks at some of the presents underneath the Winter Veil tree. A lot of members of the Horde had been going up to it and taking some of them. Apparently, itās a tradition for Winter Veil. Surprisingly, he finds one addressed to him:
"To a very special Saurok,
May your Winter Veil be wonderful and your dreams come true!
-Greatfather Winter"
Now what could be within this present?
Why, itās a Crashinā Thrashinā Shredder! The Saurok ambassdor is thrilled! He will be sure to treasure both this and the memories of Winter Veil. He is eager to report back to his tribe and hopes they will be able to celebrate the holiday from now on!

Unfortunately, at the time of this post, itās still missing in Orgrimmar for me. If it did come back, it disappeared yet again. Not really sure what is causing it in Orgrimmar to disappear so much. Maybe the reindeer made a deal or something to have breaks for reindeer games or something.
Hopefully, itāll get fixed for good soon so people can enjoy it before the event ends.

Seeing as the end of the year is coming up, I thought Iād make the usual āend of the yearā post. Will be posting this in both my megathreads, albeit with some differences to go with that megathreadās theme better.
This year has beenā¦less than stellar for a number of reasons. It has been a rather rough time to keep positive as a result. My hope is that the game will go in a better direction and that Activision employees will get better treatment and a much better work environment.
As for WoW itself, Iām not currently planning on quitting anytime soon. As much as Shadowlands has been a contender for my least favorite expansion, Iāve been enjoying doing stuff in game. In fact, I recently changed my main covenant to Necrolords and have been really enjoying it. Getting to create constructions, being able to summon a slime pet that helps briefly in battle, engaging in the arena, and liking my covenant abilities have really helped my enjoyment. Not to mention being Plague Deviser Marilethās apprentice is a joy. I still am not fond of Shadowlands as a whole, but at least I can still find some fun things within it.
I am hoping weāll at least get a new expansion announcement next year, seeing as weāre coming to the end of Shadowlands. Speaking of, the strongest rumor currently seems to be Dragon Isles. Iām all for it, myself, since it would mean weād be back in the living world (of Warcraft!) and dragons have the potential for being an interesting theme. I am unsure of what storyline would go with it, though I do wonder if we might see the different Dragon Flights in a new covenant-like system. I assume they would all be involved somehow.
As for Saurok in such an expansion, it could be possible to see them around if many tribes have been seafaring. I wouldnāt particularly expect them, but you never know if we could run into some Horde friendly Saurok somewhere out there. My expectations will be tempered, of course, but darned if I donāt keep hope of some kind for every expansion announcement.
Whatever the next expansion is, I will of course keep an eye out for anything Saurok related and report on my findings here. If weāre ever lucky enough to get Saurok as a playable race, Iāll revamp the main post of the megathread to collect all information about them. To be clear, my expectations are always tempered, but it never hurts to have a backup plan if we get lucky.
I am hoping to figure out some other things to show off playable Horde Saurok support in the future, though my priority right now is to find a job IRL. Once I get one and my schedule is more settled, I may be able to do things like in-game events and such finally. Weāll also be reaching our 3 year anniversary on June 2nd. Iāll see if I can think of anything special to do for that time when it comes.
With that, I hope everyone has a fun, happy, and safe New Yearās! Playable Horde Saurok support will continue into next year!
As always, more Saurok research and support will continue onward. Iāll see yāall in 2022!

Happy Near Year, everyone! 
The Saurok ambassador watches the stars in the sky as the new year arrives. He feels at ease while in deep contemplation. He hopes he and his tribe will find a home within the Horde someday.
Here is to a hopefully brighter future. One where we may see some reptiles on that character creation screen finally! With Saurok on the Horde side, of course!

I actually do want Jinyu and Ankoan as a playable Alliance race. I hope we see them come back and officially join the Alliance as playable races in the near future. Pair them with Hozen and Kelfin on the Horde, and you have some pretty neat playable race pairs! 
I imagine my Saurok characters doing something similar and likely wanting to adventure and explore the world (of Warcraft!). In the meantime, they would likely be helping their tribe to help fend off any potential Mogu attacks, where ever they are.
