Her red hair makes me think she might be a half-elf.
Itās possible I guess. We donāt know enough about her to be sure. Sheās also not the only red haired red clad High Elf in the game- Gilthares Firebough was one (technically IS one- if you count being glitched under a tower still āin-gameā)
Oooh, I didnāt know I wanted this before now.
Ty you so much, itās really nice to have you around!
Decided to take a look at all the cards within the new expansion (piqued my interest due to the High Elves):

Came across another familiar High Elf:

The page makes reference to Isirami Fairwind, high elf inkeeper of A Heroās Welcome. But here we see her eyes glowing blue!
I looked through the rest of the cards and it seems to have some up to date lore things such as the Sunreaver Warmage card having Golden Eyes, as well as a Lightforged Blessing Paladin card.
And as a funny bonus, thereās the first ever (Hearthstone canon) Gnome Paladin:

I think the explanation why High Elves in the cards are represented with both non-glowing and glowing blue eyes is that two different artists will have different art styles or ways to view High Elves
Anyway, i would be pleased if we get the opportunity to chose to turn eye glow on/off in the character customization screen, but iām way more interested in non-glowing eyes as they could represent the isolation from the Sunwell and other magic sources.
I love her. The only inn keeper I know in wow.
No problem! I do what I can.
Oh nice! I totally missed her! You can even tell thatās āA Heroās Welcomeā in the background!
That kind of reminds me of a WOW webcomic I was reading a while back that featured a Gnome paladin in-training as a minor character. It was something called āBeyond the Treeā or something like that because it starred a couple of Night Elves.
I havenāt seen that argument made though. Iām not saying itās never happened, but I think if it ever comes up its probably because someone is pretending the current High Elves donāt exist.
Maybe iām a bit colorblind.
Good Gods: An adult perspective on the issue.
/hand clap (not a slow one)
Are those from Hearthstone? DAMN! LOVE THOSE CARDS!
Hate that Hearthstone does more for High Elves than the game form which they come ā¦ or is this foreshadowing and one of those times that Bliz has some crossover clues between their games?
That would be an intersting way to tell the difference between High and Blood elves, if High Elves no longer had glowing eyes.
Theyāve done it before! Gulādan was the playable Warlock a while before Warlords of Draenor was announced, and Alleria was an alternate skin for Hunter Rexxar for a good long while before she made her reappearance in Legion.
She still is actually I use her as my skin when I play Hearthstone.
Well I mean, I think you had to buy Alleriaās skin, so taking it away would be counter-productive. Itās been forever since Iāve actually played a Hearthstone game.
Hearthstone is a concept laboratory for WoW. Interesting ideas from it end up migrating to canon. Liadrinās golden eyes appeared in HS years before BfA. HS also introduced the tortollans. Or the murloc guy in the League of Explorers.
Which is why Iām pretty curious about Vereesa wielding Thoriādalā¦
also note you can still see the whites of her eyes. Her eye isnāt fully colored unlike with blood elves.
also with the full card art we can see she doesnāt have the same red hair as blood elves. She has ginger hair which seems to be unique to her.
I would love some foreshadowing especially in regards to gnome paladins and high elves.
considering that wrath 2.0 could quite possibly be the next expansion dalaran would likely return with updated silver covenant and sunreavers.
furthermore if it is foreshadowing there are hints to crystalsong forest in the expansion too. perhaps they would be able to create their original vision for the zone instead of it nearly all being scrapped.
I donāt see Wrath 2.0 happening next. Iād bet money on a Void themed xpac. Dalaran fatigue is real
