The Unofficial High Elf Discussion Megathread

I’m not going to call out names since I’m not particularly interested in fighting over it, but those exact words were literally used in this thread earlier today, and this thread has a tendency to lean little too far towards Blood/Void Elf bashing when things start getting heated.

I fully understand it was almost definitely done out of frustration, and I understand where that comes from. All I’m saying is in the course of making our case we don’t need to be jerks about it even in response to those who we might be considering less than reasonable in their opposition.

A certain crowd is already all too eager to cast the lot of us as trying to defame and rob the other side, we don’t need to hand them ammunition to back that up. It doesn’t do us any good to pretend the bad acting on our side isn’t happening.

Again, I’m not trying to drag anyone in particular down here, but there’s been a trend over the past day in here I hope we can move away from.

On a more positive note, those Hearthstone cards are awesome, love the art on them.

The Sunreavers don’t exist anymore, someone correct me if i’m wrong, what i’m sure i’m not wrong about is that a lot of Horde players are tired of having a Human/High Elf city as a hub.

Hopefully Dalaran will became 100% Alliance in the future.

Dalaran is Alliance. They’re just uninterested in waging war against the Horde.

Hopefully something happens that changes their mind. I want to rain down Arcane fury on Silvermoon.

I’m… not sure. Their role is gone in Dalaran (replaced by Forsaken guards) and as far as I’m aware, Aethas Sunreaver hasn’t used the title. The last time I can personally recall hearing about the Sunreavers is from the Isle of Thunder and the “Sunreaver Onslaught.”

I’d need a player with more Horde experience to know more.

Eh honestly it shouldn’t matter. Blood Elves should be kicked out of Dalaran if they have a problem with assisting the Alliance, it should land in Hillsbrad, and assist the Alliance in recovering the area especially now that the Undead have moved out.

I dunno. Personally I respect Khadgar and Dalaran’s decision to stay neutral- given everything that both the Horde and Alliance sacrificed during Legion to save Azeroth.

It may only be a matter of time before the Kirin Tor’s hand is forced though.

Well I don’t. It’s rather evident that this is all just written intentionally to avoid bringing in Dalaran to the fold again. There’s no way they’d stand idly by as Sylvanas burns down an entire city. The same problem happened with Draenei and their Vindicaar.

There’s something wrong about the entire Warcraft 2 team assembling on the Alliance but missing Khadgar.

What is that supposed to imply?

Spell it out, pls.

Hiding behind your alternate character so that you aren’t called out.

Not sure that apples in non-competitive situations though.

Well, Kurdhan has been all but absent since Cataclysm. A Wildhammer losing his gryphon would do that to a dwarf.

I thought you could find them in Legion Dalaran during one of the artifact quest lines, I think I remember seeing them at the very top of Dalaran doing something.

Ah fair point I confused him as I saw him in Legion.

I haven’t done all of them, do you remember which one?

Mage. They help you outside the tower.

Ah, I don’t have a high level mage, so I wouldn’t know.

As Mithlius said, I think it’s the Mage one. but honestly I’ve not done the mage artifact quests. Can someone who has help me out?

They were helping maintain a shield for the city to defend against Legion attacks (it was part of the mage quests). As far as I know there’s nothing suggesting they don’t still exist as a group.

They were on the tall tower assisting the player in containing some energies.

It’s been a while, but yea.

What are you babbling about?
