Thankfully I’m not under burden to change you or anyone’s stance.
I’m merely making counterpoints and feedback to mirror yours on Blizzard’s stage. I don’t post to sway you. I post so Blizzard sees opposition even in a thread rife with yes men.

You’re using that wrong.
And we appreciate how weak your arguments are. Really helps our cause.
If you think Veressa is a major player in Warcraft’s story, you have very low standards for Alliance characters.
Well of course you’d think that if you don’t care enough to even spell her name right.
Funny. History is repleat with the hold outs and naysayers who proved to be on the wrong side of change.
Fortunately, the people like you come across as completely irrational to anyone with half a brain and there are far more “yes men” on this thread than the same 3 tired trolls who are scared of the new pixels so many of us would be overjoyed to see available to us.
Let’s just cut to the chase: You don’t care about Horde identity. You care about your Blood Elf model. You wanted to play the fair haired elf and Horde was the only option and now the thought of Alliance getting High Elves has you so upset because you don’t really mean “For the Horde” when you scream it and all those years of feeling out of place in the dirt and dust of Orgrimmar will be for nothing if all of a sudden the TRUE children of Quel’thalas become playable?
Poor Lydon. Alone in his principles. Scared of what’s to come. Helpless to do anything about it but hope Blizzard sees that his game will be ruined if High Elves are playable.
Blizzard can you hear hiiiiiiim? Try to understand hiiiiiiiiiim?
/eyeroll
Sorry. I just read WoW novels.
She is just the first real High Elf we’ve been introduced too in the fiction.
She is literally how old school WoW introduced readers to High Elves.
Um … as opposed to the major Blood Elf players?
What have we seen Liadrin doing other than a background character in a Warfront? Lor’themar just shows up for the Blood Elf heritage after being where for how many expacs?
Oh yes. MAJOR players from the Sin’dorei. Earth shattering events unfolding in Silvermoon LOL.
Oh please. The number of times I’ve seen Sylvanas misspelled is mind boggling.
Send my thumbs a grammar bill.
I just looked at your profile for the first time. Is THIS your main?
Muh collaborative effort.
Can’t have it both ways.
High Elves would ruin the faction divide, but given the Horde Night Elves didn’t. Nor did Pandaran for both. And given Blood Elves were retconned in at the last minute in place of Ogres because early WoW admitted that the lack of anything pretty to play as kept the Horde lite on player count was a the sole reason the Blood Elves are in the Horde.
You are under the burden to have a coherent reason for your stance, however.
This is clear from most of the helfers. It’s like as a group you really don’t want what you’re asking for. It’s more important to be disrespectful than get your helves.
Which is just fine with me.
Just gonna throw out there that I think the whole “High Elves are the true children of Quel’Thalas” (the implication being that Blood Elves somehow… aren’t?) is a dumb take that I wouldn’t mind seeing less of. There are enough legit reasons for high elves to be playable that we don’t need to also throw blood elves under the bus in the process.
Also sniping at people’s profiles is a bad look regardless of who it is.
What many of these folks want to say, but lack the sack for, is that they are ok watering down blue shaded elves because they can still feel special while the mere thought of alliance players getting something they have wanted from the games launch is morally outrageous to them as it will somehow make them less special. I have multiple blood elves and love their story and aesthetics. Giving the alliance high elves would in no way ruin that.
I will restate a point I have made many times. The moment that Blizzard feels High Elves will revitalise the alliance player base or bring subs back, the Silver Covenant will show up at the embassy in Stormwind and Blizz will hype train it for all its worth. Lore has never gotten in the way of profit and it never will.
Agreed. As a Blood Elf fan, the idea that the High Elves are the ‘true children of Quel’Thalas’ is kinda of silly. Both High and Blood Elves inherit different aspects of pre-scourge High Elven identity, but let’s not act like one side is more valid or somehow a superior choice over the other.
Yeah, but by that reasoning and by extension void elves are as well.
This is absolutely true. Except for that rogue that ganked me. Seriously, that guy…
Models no longer matter. Models have been given away to the Alliance with void elves and so have blue eyes. The only argument now is not models but skin color and to 4.5% of the population, that doesn’t even matter (they’re colorblind).
