Nice chart Alamara.

I’m really eager to see how the game community will look like in the next expansion.

For BFA I was expecting 60/40, but I missed it by 5%, it ended up being 55/45 HxA ratio.

Keep in mind it’s hard to measure considering people have alts on both sides of the aisle. It’s usually better to take a measurement near the launch of an expansion where activity is high and people level their mains (and thus, their main faction) first.

I know, I remember seeing 56.5/43.5 in the second week after BFA launch. But I didn’t take any screenshot, so I can’t prove that happened. I think Alliance will catch up a bit until the expansion ends, mostly because of alts.

I mean, Blizzard is also making what they can to hide the real situation:

Jeez, I go away and suddenly everything goes back to normal. You guys were all having fun without me!

I really liker her for some reason and I’m still scratching my head as to why. Maybe it’s because you don’t see many Priests with that kind of attitude?

Every time I passed by her on Argus I thought she was a riot. I’m glad she returned for BFA- even if it was for a minor role (so far.)

Of the lightforged cast, Y’mera was the better explored, while Telaamon and Enaara were the most entertaining. Fareeya was so-so, and Sorvos and Baraat were pretty unremarkable. I was sad to see Telaamon die so soon.

Blizzard not using these NPCs in post-Legion Vindicaar was a huge let down as well. Not even Lothraxion was there!

Why were the two Alliance preorder races so criminally undeveloped? It’s disappointing! There were so many little things that could be added to flesh them out better!

Thinking further on my idea for a High Elf Hunter that I mentioned I would play, I would really like for him to look like the guy on the left here.

A really good representation of a wild huntsman, not quite an elegant pretty boy ala Legolas or something. I still think back to those High Elves in WC2 that were very metal, or maybe an elf in a dark fantasy setting. I would think of him as stoic and gruff, and prefers to fight in the grit of melee with a spear instead of using a bow like most elves do. Survival is actually my favorite Hunter spec, followed by Beast Mastery, so I think that’s most likely what I’d go with.

The interactions with Y’mera was pretty memorable. I felt pretty sorry for her and I really wondered what in the past made her get off on the wrong foot with Vigilant Quoram. (Probably not much due to it’s personality…)

Pretty cool. We’ll probably never see tabards like those though, due to the nature of how clothes currently work on player models. I’m personally a Marksmanship kinda guy, but I can see the appeal of Survival- being the only melee spec hunters have.

Yeah, I can live without a tabard honestly. I was actually thinking of bringing up a redesign of the unicorn symbol to be more symmetrical and applicable to a tabard because I know symmetry is the reason why they make tabard symbols a certain way.

It’s the same way I feel about the Gilnean sickle symbol. I really want it on a tabard, but I know I can’t have it due to symmetry and so I’m content with the three lances over a moon symbol.

In the meantime, I am just glad I can post here while my sub is down and I take a break from playing the game.

I honestly don’t want to give a red cent to Blizzard until the game improves and I get updated Worgen.

On that note, my subscription ends in 5 days and I’m not sure on what to do. I’m not really eager to play, but I’m also not hating the game, it’s just so-so.

Some good news would help me decide.

Well, if you’re not really playing the game, but you can still post on the forums while your sub is down… I’d say let your sub expire.

I’m not that active either- but I still do the Warfronts and world bosses for gear- plus I’m still technically working on the list.

…But if you really want some good news…

Probably keep posting here at least, criticizing bad practices.

I am glad you can vote with your wallet while still expressing your critiques for why you are doing so on here, I will give them credit for allowing that much.

Though I imagine a deadline exists on forum posting here as well.

I am playing the game, but I’ve got very little to look forward to now. I want to see the Crucible of Storms and Xal’atath questline, but I think these are still weeks away.

There’s something really off about BfA’s patch cycle. Legion was a constant influx of news. PTR would come out one or two weeks after new patch, each patch had a lot to look forward to. News in BfA come soooo slow…
