For sure. It’s just a system to let people that love Warcraft play their fantasy. Which is a great thing.
You know. Unless you’re us.

It’s the kind of response i was expecting, and it doesn’t address my point.
There are people that love playing Void Elves though.
That’s fine. They can be a minor element of WoW now and it’s fine. They add to it.
Don’t forget the Grand Lector Enaara! She is on the Alliance ship inside in Boralus healing the wounded, being her firey self!
But I cited her, lol!
I disagree. I think if a character is to exist then they need to not be left on a giant cliffhanger.
You can offer multiple different products, but if most are faulty…then why market them?
But it isnt a minor element, and that’s the issue.
Oh lol yeah, it came out unclear, it was more of a “don’t forget that she is in Boralus” thing ;D I like to go see her from time to time.
If we are discussing him, then there’s the chance the devs will use him. I prefer that to him not existing.
A plot possibility is always better than an impossibility.
X for Doubt
They just used him for a 70s pop culture reference that originally wasnt for him.
They’re a cult of Blood Elves twisted by the Void… and theoretically there aren’t very many of them. They’re a minor story element.
Just like the Dark Irons are. Just like the Mag’har are. Etc. Etc.
and if I’m a WoW developer and I figure out that plenty of players are playing Void Elves, but a large percentage of them aren’t doing it because they’re excited about Void Elves, I’m gonna seriously consider how I utilize my resources.
My point was that having a system that allows subraces to be playable whereas before they couldn’t be stand alone Core Races is great, it greatly increased character customization and options.
As for that, if some of the Allied Races are bad, that isn’t a fault of the Allied Race system itself but rather a completely different issue that needs to be addressed and fixed over time if the developers consider it worthy.
The fact that some of the Allied Races were badly implemented shouldn’t be a factor to stop implementing new ones at all, it should be a opportunity for the developers to review mistakes and learn lessons, imagine Blizzard deciding to abandon World of Warcraft after Warlords of Draenor because it was a failure.
This is just a weird take. It’s like being against setting up things. Like I get that cliffhangers are annoying, but that’s pressuming they will never be addressed, you can only know that for a fact with hindsight.
And second, WoW is not the product of a single creative mind. Much like comic book narratives, it’s a revolving door of creators working within a framework, with different interests and concerns. So even if the current team doesn’t want to do anything with High Elves, or really, any aspect of the narrative, it doesn’t mean there won’t be someone in the future with an interest for them.
i hate the zombie look the voids have and the funky hairs looks like its constantly melting
Yet one is leading an invasion, participating in a number of points of the war campaign, and appears at the Alliance Voldun.
Then there is the story importance of Alleria.
The characters arent meant to be minor, if two of them have that much importance.
They have had 10 years.
Didnt do anything in MoP
Didnt do anything for the Void Elf scenario
Didnt do anything for BfA.
Let’s not hold our breaths.
The problem is it’s not just a character drop, but an important lore element drop with queldorei and the Sunwell access
He is doing stuff in BfA, though, just not directly. One of the island teams is named after him, specifically changed to be so during BfA beta.
Give Void Elves a normal skin, hair and eye option like Aleria has
BOOM
Problem solved.
We both know that won’t solve it. Next will be they need the paladin class. Honestly, they would be right in that request. I personally view it this way. Doesn’t effect me so let them have it and im ok supporting them. More options are good. Please add monk class to goblins and I’m a happy camper.
Worgen and Goblins really should have Monks at this point.
Also I am all out of likes to give for a while, I hope you are all happy!

**I’m considering only US population at max level
Zandalari are less then 3,000 players short of surpassing highmountain tauren and lightforged draenei. It should have it by the end of the week, as I predicted. With luck, they could even surpass maghar and dark irons.
