Oh lol, yeah I was flagged because using other word on the edited “it’s a pain to value up”, a word that could be considered as bypassing the mature filter.
I had made another post referring to it using the word again, and it was immediately flagged and removed, so someone is pretty keen on flagging me lol.
If they eventually do introduce more “normal” skin tones for Void elves, it will likely be more “almost” normal shades. I imagine they’ll get similar skin shades to the Night elves where there’s more peach/purple mixtures but I think the choice to not give them standard “fair” skin shades was certainly a deliberate one.
Because in the artwork the artist took time to add colors correctly. It’s not over saturated.
In the player model they literally just did a purple wash over Blood Elf skins.
That’s why you have 6 skin colors except the under eyes and armpits look slightly different
Like I said. The basically used an over saturated wash for Void Elves instead of taking time for good colors.
Well, I don’t see Blond or Brown ever working. And peachy skin would look odd with purple tentacle hair.
They are basically limited to new but similar things. I hope they take a hint from the artwork.

All my suggestions are for things that would blend well with what we got now, in any combination.

The mock-ups I used above are good examples. They’d fit perfectly.
If Blizzard added those, plus a few more hair styles for diversity and Alleria-like tatoos (blue, red, violet variants), I’d not complain about void elf customization ever again.
(I’d still complain about their lackluster lore, thought. That also needs fixing.)

Do note that is really old stuff and might not be canon anymore, i can be wrong since they do use old content lost to unknown status sometimes (Dragon Isles made canon in 8.1 for example) so i wouldn’t hold up to it and take it with a grain of salt.
It’s also open ground to say they where wiped out in Quel’Thalas and only exist in the High Elves.
What is this existing fallout you speak of?
Please point to a source where someone from Blizzard officially says “no” in reference to High Elves ever being playable.
Or that the high elves are now relearning that path with their night elf allies.

I still disagree with the whole half Elf way to go, I think plain pure bred High Elves is the best way to go.
You are all forgetting this is blizzard… they will absolutely ruin half Elves with some abomination of a model… High Elves (Quel’dorei) they can use any which haven’t been diluting the bloodline could be thier story arc pure breeds banding together keeping their blood line pure. Rebuilding High Elves society with Veressa.
All I’m saying this whole Half Elf thing isn’t the way to go, I can’t imagine what blizzard would do.
It certainly wouldn’t be making a new model, that’s for sure. Easiest way to implement Half-Elves would be to take the Thalassian model, use human coloring, shorten the ears and eyebrows.
I’m for High Elf with Half Elf options.
It makes the most sense and offers the most possible options in character customizations and lore.
1000 bucks they would be like this is a half Elf, and it’s Kul’tiran model with pointy ears. That’s what I’m worried about.
And believe me Blizzard has ruined everything High Elf so far so I’m saying theirs a 90% chance they ruin half Elf…

I am for both races being added… High Elves and Half Elves.
All that’s needed is High Elves with an ear customization option. Seems like something easy enough. Maybe add options for eye-glow or not as well.
