That’s actually kinda heartwarming.

Here’s a comprehensive list I have been keeping updated based off of most request. I would be happy if you shared it around.

General Concepts
-Tattoos/Warpaint like Alleria.
-Different Hair/Facial hair styles (Less fancy) with Blue/White hair colors and no red hair color.
-Blue Eyes/Purple Eyes. (Duh!)
-Dark Skin options (Like Devi)

Possible Additions/Alterations-
-Some Short Eared/Eyebrowed versions for Half Elves.
-Different idle stances. Like between Female Night Elves/Nightborne.
-Slightly different physique. Possibly buffer/metier than the average Blood Elf because they mostly live in the forest and/or highly Militarised. About as different as Nightborne males from Night Elf males or less so. Or based on Night Elf models.
-More practical building designs. Like altered versions of the Lodges. (Like the WC2 Lumber Mill.) Or just dalaran.
-Celtic themes to tie it all together. (Like in WC2)
-Woodsmen themed Heritage Armor. (Like in WC2…)

Posible Classes-
-Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Priest. Highly likely.
-Rogue, Paladin, Monk. Likely.
-Shaman, Druid. Unlikely but possible with new lore additions.
-Warlock. Highly Unlikely. (We have one NPC who might not even be a Warlock)
-Death Knight, Demon Hunter. Straight up no because no Allied Races get hero classes. (Death Knight might be possible in the future.)

Just to notify you about this, most people just says straightly this idea given up too much. :slight_smile:
(And Blizzard would have even lesser chance to approve it actually)

My idea behind the Half Elf options is to give people customizations like the Blood Elves gold eyes or the new Black Eyes for Night Elves.

So like 2 or 3 faces.

Plus it would give more accurate models for the Half Elves already in game.

For the record I am not against Half Elves. I just don’t think they can stand on their own as an allied race.

My bet is 2 more patches before he gets fired, the game is a mess, i already depleted all of the content from this patch.

Out of respect to Blizzard I would believe Ion and his team could handle the case more equally or even “logically” (because I think reject high elf model/lore at the same time is a far illogical thing), and I will wait, but if it proved some people are completely designing the game out of their own like/dislike toward faction.

These Dev. should to be fired immediately.

Please, Ion, send some devs. to play Alliance, to know what we actually want, all double faction player have been to southern barren in Kalimdor just like you, but have you been set foot on stormwind for even a time? have you left your orc shaman for even a time?

It wasn’t just the Void Elf females. The poor Blood Elf females had been without their twirl for quite some time too. Thankfully now gals on both side of the fense can twirl till their heart’s content. :slight_smile:

He talked to me before posting it, I encouraged him to post but make it clear it’s wild speculation.

It’s just some fun wild thoughts. Like I said to him: do not get any hope out of this.

Store mounts often reuse resources that are being developed for something else. There has been a lot of mounts that previewed future expansion content.

The bat mount came in Pandaria, just as new bat models were being worked on for ToT patch.

The Iron Skyreaver and the faerie dragon mount came out way before WoD was announced. The Grinning Reaver came out a little after the expansion reveal, but no one knew what it was meant to be. All three were used as NPC mounts and flight master mounts in WoD.

Likewise, the Mysthic Runesaber came out before Legion was revealed.

So, people often speculate if new shop mounts may not be hinting at future content. Maybe it’s as simple as we getting fox mounts soon, and Blizzard decided to make a blue winged version of it. Maybe it could be hinting at larger things. I’ve seen people speculation that this may be vulpera-related (could it be a model for a fox loa?) as well.

Like I said to Pontifice, it’s probably nothing elf-related, but hey, if we lack news, let’s make some fun wild mass guessing.

Not going to hope something out of this, but the mount saddle is one of the most High Elvish things i have seen in current wow, i don’t care about store mounts but i would buy it if High Elves ever are made playabe.

Speculation is speculation, but I suppose if Blizzard has gotten the message loud and clear that the Alliance is sick of Horse Mounts, and if High Elves were added, the Quel’dorei Steed might be off the table. Foxes could work, though to be fair, these specific foxes travel the Great Dark Beyond to come to Azeroth.

That description makes me think they’d have been a better match for Void Elves than High Elves, though I suppose there could still be High Elves out there. We know not all of Alleria’s forces from the Alliance Expedition/Sons of Lothar are accounted for.

I agree we need high elves, playerbase been wanting for years and then blizzard gave us emo elves and personally wish we actually got actually high elves, we got tauren with antlers and orcs of different skin color, why no high elves?

Ok so just finished watching the Q&A from Blizzard, and no news of any Allied Race at all… not even news on Kul’tirans or Zandalari Trolls!.

They talk about communication… be nice if they could communicate what Allied Races they working on, plans for the future? Or the next couple that are coming…

It seems that they had planned the Allied Races for BFA well in advance. It’s possible when they wanted players to tell them what Allied Races we’d like to see added, they sincerely thought we’d be asking for what they have coming. Or it’s possible that request was purely for beyond BFA. Or a bit of both.

Either way, I think it’s safe to say any unrevealed Allied Races likely aren’t matching a lot of the more requested options right now, which may be why they’re being quiet on it.

I just completed the quest for Blood Elf heritage armor.

It was made very clear that our heritage is High Elven.

I fought alongside my Regent Lord Lor’Themar of Qel’Thalas, with blue-eyed Silvermoon defenders by my side.

It seemed a very, very clear nod from Blizzard that Blood Elves and Void Elves are High Elves, and the blue-eyed, usually neutral or friendly (to both factions) NPC’s are remnants from those traitor High Elves who fled the battle against Arthas, and were never, never intended to be playable.

And now you aren’t High Elves anymore and don’t act like them.

The quest explained how you where High Elves.

Like how Orcs where like Mag’har and how Void Elves where Blood Elves or Worgen where Humans.
