As an aside, there are a lot of wealthy people (ie Buffet/Zuckerberg) that have pledged to give away 90% of their wealth. That is the right way to do things, altruism. Not the government taking it and giving it to you.

I’m about as right wing as you can be in polite society, but when you have the issues we have, and multi billionaire technocrats controlling what you’re allowed to do, say, where you can go and buy, they need to pay for the privilege. We’re treated like servants while they fly around the world, pretend to be gods and meddle in our lives. If you truly believed in being the master of your own life you wouldnt like them any more than I do.

It’s the wealthiest country in the world due to free market principles. If the governments starts taking money from rich people (because the government manages money so well), then rich people start to care less about growing business and starting new ventures because they will benefit less from doing it. Would you go to work if you were not going to get paid? No, you wouldn’t.
