Contesting the validity of an opinion is not being condescending. Discourse is productive. Not challenging theories is called groupthink and leads to bad outcomes.

Well,if they did Dang that’s alot of money spent I don’t think they did that at all but networking does pay off doesn’t it by selling raids,and there is the heart of most of wow’s problem ,raid and dungeons .I would hope people see this cycle but i’m sure they would rather bury it so no one see it.

The fact of the matter is:
The best rewards are reserved for group content. You can absolutely play this game solo. However don’t whine and complain that the best rewards are out of solo player’s reach.

I would differ on that though it is more challenging soloing the content ,a person can have the same rewards by joining a group that does the content without judgement but that’s not the case with rio . You are judged regardless .

You can? I’m 3/10M atm, likely to be 4-5/10M this week and have spent bare minimum amounts of gold for progression? Relative to 330 million I’ve spent pennies. I started the expac at 1.8M gold across my characters, I’m now at 1.5M. And the only reason I’ve dipped that low is because I got lazy the last 2 weeks and just bought my consumables instead of farming them.
You know what I did though? I joined a guild of like minded individuals with a similar goal.
As such… ‘Join a guild’ is valid advice if you want to complete activities that are challenging enough to require a consistent team…

Nah. You are more-so that because you want less for the game.
Except this game is designed with group content in mind. That’s where the devs decided to put the rewards.
The devs could decide to mail everyone BiS gear but that would destroy every bit of progression and the game itself.
Cool, so all those others you are expecting to carry you? They wanted that too and worked for it. They put in the time, did the keys, built their scores. Now on top of all that work, you want them to put aside everything and carry you, because in your words it’s toxic if they don’t.
As a purely casual player this expansion, I can tell ya when and if I want to dive back in, I don’t assume anyone would be responsible for gearing me. Nor should you. We are not halfway through an expansion here. I find the truly toxic players to not be the elitist players at all, it’s the people who can’t be bothered to put in the time everyone else did and assume they deserve it.
