So the feedback doesn’t seem mixed? a poll needs to be conducted to see there are a bunch of people on both sides? Wow.
Why would they change it. people complain. Like most features of dragonflight I doubt they will know if they are liked until they release them and see how people engage with it
Seems overly negative, but I have not seen the entirety of the community reaction because many do not post it to social sites.
No, but a poll does need to be done if you want to claim “the feedback is fairly mixed.”
“Why would a company change the product they are selling when their consumer base is criticizing said product?” Gee, I wonder why…
Conflating genuine criticism with complaints, implying a negative connotation on the latter. There is definite complaining that is not constructive, but to lump all negative feedback as just “people complain” is disingenuous.
So people cannot critique the appearance of a model until they play it? They are completely unrelated; one is visual and the other is gameplay.
People complaining on a forum is rarely a useful metric. You know what they say about opinions. The only way will know how well received they are is to release them. Especially when it seems this mixed. Any change they make could be wrong.
Good job chopping up my post and answering it out of context by the way. Why change really cracked me up. Especially if it’s mixed.
Most people who play don’t engage with forums or reddit. makes it even harder to make conclusions. especially when mixed
So why did you claim the feedback is mixed???
So never change anything until it is released? What is the point of pre-alpha, alpha, beta, public test realms, announcements, and advertisements then if - by your logic - things can only be changed after release?
To quote yourself in the same comment as this section: “People complaining on a forum is rarely a useful metric.” So why do you keep claiming this yet turn around in the same breath and say it is not useful and imply it is unreliable?
That is a mess. If it’s hard to make any conclusions then it would be unreliable. It isn’t a contradiction. I’m really not sure what point you’re trying to make.
The discussion is fun though. That really is the point of forums. Rarely it can be a decent source of feedback.
Edit: Why did I say it’s mixed. Because their are tons of people on both sides of the discussion. Are you thick
Who cares? We’re getting options. It’s a win.
Your logic is a mess. Who mentioned the difficulty of making conclusions? I actually mentioned a counter to that strawman in referencing a poll, not to mention looking at the feedback all over this General Discussion forum since the expansion reveal. I need a map or a singular thread to follow your tangled web called logic…
The forums also house the feedback sections, so the latter point is flat-out wrong.
Then what is?
A place to discuss game things with other players, just like the forum descriptor says.
What poll? you mentioned a strawman how about that one. I said mixed. Mixed isn’t a poll
you chopped my original post out of context and started spewing nonsense. That’s why I said it’s a mess
Why do you automatically assume the thicker model is Puerto Rican?
You claimed the feedback is mixed. I mentioned a poll as one example you could give as a source, but I am really just asking for your source to back up that claim.
Look at the forums: Are some people happy? Yes. Are some people unhappy? Yes. That’s the definition of mixed.
Thank you. all I was saying.

Let me pose a question to you: 100 people are happy and 1 person is unhappy. Is this a mixed reaction?
By definition, yes. You are looking for some proof that x many people think this way and y people think that way and that is not something anyone ever claimed.
oh this is gold. You have a poll for those numbers?

The answer is no; it is a mostly positive reaction. To apply this example broader, that means as long as one person has a different reaction then anything is considered a mixed reaction. Can you see the idiocy yet?
You are trying to make everything into steam rating… that’s not the conversation that is being had.
Where’s this Tweet? I know we’ve been saying it here, but I missed the Tweet.
So what? Why does this matter?
