The thicker Dracthyr model claim is PR

Anything as buff as a human in this game definetly fits the definition of monster in my book. Regardless, yes to choice, no to rush to remake the model and have a worgen type mess.

mmh??? they are dragons since they are the combination of every dragon aspect they are not like the other races that “hang out too much with dragons”

They are a created race, not a dragon. A (black) dragon created them.

they are created by using dragons

No they were created by a dragon.

You have a problem with curvy women? I sure as heck don’t.

Just drop the stupid Visage form and let you pick any normal mortal race… maybe with a dragon eye option…

that would have been better. Scrapping visage entirely would be fine but they would never do it. It’s been revealed so I doubt they will want to change it.

sure but it doesn’t take away that they are also dragons . “They have the ability to wield the [magic] of all five primary [dragonflights]as [evokers], and, like true dragons, shapeshift between a draconic form and a [humanoid] [visage].[[1]] The dracthyr were created in the ancient past by the black [Dragon Aspect] [Neltharion], who combined the essence of [dragons] with the adaptability of the mortal races to create a race of ideal soldiers.[[2]]” wow wiki

They said slightly thicker. They did not change anything “for PR.” And even if you do get thick boys, that’d be just them listening to feedback.

This kind of thing is detrimental to feedback and change in the game. Making listening to the community into some insult. Just stop.

The ability to use a certain type of magic doesn’t make them a race they are not.

they are made of the essence of dragons and just like true dragons they can shape shift

If Blizz is going to say drakthyr are their answer to playable dragons (instead of… I dunno, actual drakes) they can at least make the drakthyr have options for larger, bulkier and more monstrous models… like actual dragons. Or like the drakonids/dragonspawn we have seen constantly.

This tells us way more about what is in YOUR head than anybody else’s. Yikes.

They are half human so why would they be as beefy as draknoids?

Where is the link to this poll conducted?

It was a joke man

Nowhere is it stated that Dracthyr are “half human” (I assume you mean humanoid), only that Neltharion did experiments after observing the primal proto drakes; we know next to nothing about their origin and what they even are (dragon scaled down, draknoid, hybrid, or otherwise).

Well, where does the humanoid side come from?

Have no idea to be honest. Like I said: there is little information on what the Dracthyr actually are at the moment, unless I missed something or forgot it.

EDIT: From Wowpedia:

The dracthyr are an ancient race of humanoid dragonkin. They have the ability to wield the magic of all five primary dragonflights as evokers, and, like true dragons, shapeshift between a draconic form and a humanoid visage.[1] The dracthyr were created in the ancient past by the black Dragon Aspect Neltharion, who combined the essence of dragons with the adaptability of the mortal races to create a race of ideal soldiers.[2] Neltharion crafted the Forbidden Reach off the coast of the Dragon Isles to serve as the dracthyr soldiers’ training ground, but after a terrible battle, the island laid dormant and abandoned for ages. Recently, however, the return of an ancient enemy caused the dracthyr to stir, and they now seek to forge their own path in Azeroth by joining both the Alliance and the Horde.[3]

Sounds like a entirely new race mixing the essences of dragon and mortals.
