The terrible maths of the M+ loot nerfs

so basically people would be punished for pugging? sorry that’s not gonna work.

yes heroic raiders should get myth track items in their vault

why don’t we just remove the lockout on all raids? let people spam clear the raid on heroic for the trinket they want? i would be fine with that?

let a guild group spam clear the first two bosses on mythic to get the items they need before trying the next bosses. what would be so bad about that?

Burnout. If you think people get bored of doing something like running Azure Vault 60 times in a row for a trinket won’t get bored of running an entire raid that many times, you are silly.

I can refute you and have done so on multiple occasions. Anyone that states mythic raiders aren’t required to do
Mythic plus clearly have never done it or have any understanding of mythic raiding.

You aren’t paying the price as you would actually have to play the game.

You dont even realize that this isn’t a buff for mythic raiders lol.

Always so bitter. The fact all you can do is resort to insults just proves you’re highly triggered.

You can stop fighting they reverted it.

Never going to happen. It’s an mmo. People who do both will always have an advantage.

Which part did they revert?

The 1/6 instead of it being 2/6 requiring farm more crests to be farmed per patch.

It still require 10s?

Believe so? It is going to be the same as it is this season.

I don’t think 8s should award myth track personally.

That is fair.

There is no game mechanic that forces you to do it. It’s a self inflicted wound.

It’s ok, we know you need every crutch you can get your hands on, every advantage. I have very little respect for your puffed up self worth. Even less that you preen and peacock around here telling us all how we suck, and how you are so great.
When in reality, we all pity how pathetic you and your behavior is.

I’m sorry this is all you have in life. But hey, your choice, your consequence. Own it.

There is. The systems are designed to reward people who do both. The raid drops were lessened in order to push people into mythic.

While it may not say it in bold letters the system is literally designed to require doing outside content from raid like mythic plus and usually world content.

Mythic teams generally have 25 man rosters. If you choose not to do everything to maximize your character then you get sat and don’t get to play the game.

Therefore it’s not “optional” on game design alone.

lol like I said you have zero clue the needs of mythic raiding and it shows.

You also act like I care what people on a random forum think about me. My self worth isn’t based on this game. It’s not my fault you can’t handle reality.

Pretty bold and flat out ignorant for you to make that assumption

Yes it is. You tell us about it all the time. Anyone reading your post history can see that you are a raging narcissist.
You keep replying. Typing all that out while I watched your little icon blink furiously giggling the entire time.

Amazing. I love you. :hugs:

RWF don’t appear to need your gear crutch, guess you’ll just have to l2p

This won’t impact the toon I enjoy playing the most each season, because at a certain point I am just fishing vault for chase items, this absolutely craters playing Alts at a level of gameplay I find enjoyable. It also seriously throws a wrench is gearing up a new main between seasons.

I went from 1-2 weeks to get m+ ready for an alt with crafts and the flightstones reduction followed by about a month to catch my main in Ilvl , to probably somewhere in the ballpark of 2+ months. I simply cannot run 20+ hours of mythic dungeons a week, and this change is taking a big chunk of what I find fun about the game (playing multiple classes or specs at the same m+ level) and making it almost too much to bother with.

Raid crowd finally won, hope y’all hit the participation metrics you want now…between the vault and chest changes, coupled with tier cadence, trinket potency, and legendaries when offered. M+ is really just for crests early season and a few catalyst pieces.

I enjoy killing time at work and watching people like yourself just rage and ignore reality.

Like I wrote out a post explaining why you’re wrong and you ignored it.

I never claimed to be at that level.

But hey also grind a ton of mplus because it’s required.

it’s not about getting bored - it’s about not enjoying the content.

yes i ran darkheart thicket 53 times for a ring in season 3, had lots of fun doing it.

but if i had to do that raid that many times, i would nope out of the whole season immediately.

mythic plus is fun, raiding is not.

i am very happy to do the content that i find to be fun and enjoyable many many times.

i will very quickly get burnt out from the game if i have to raid on any sort of regular schedule

If that’s the case we should make the hardest content give the best gear. PvP gladiators get elite track gear above myth track.
Better brush up on your pvp skills bud.

Not sure why you have an axe to grind against mythic raids or automatically assume people who do Mythic can’t do anything else.

Also the race to world first guilds do rely on gear and getting every advantage, which is why they spend so much on bind on equip drops, crafting, and run through a lot of Mythic plus dungeons, especially when they end up hitting a wall where the numbers are tuned a little tight. Just because they can succeed without having completely maxed out item level does not mean that they aren’t going into it without getting as much as they can because even if you are perfect in the skill department, there comes a point where the wall becomes numbers and tuning instead of mechanics.

Blizz seems to do things like this every so often and never learn.
Season 2 shadowlands they implemented those gem things you could only obtain from raids. I basically quit the game at that point, felt bad missing out on the feature and the power but didn’t want to raid so I left. I know I wasn’t the only one. There was a fair big exodus when season 2 hit.
Most people do m+. Very minimal people mythic raid.
