Can confirm almost 2 clears and 0 gear… Although in our raid we just roll not distribute. This time around though there has only been one leather drop out of both raids.
Raiding as a tank sucks, its hard to find a group to start with than when you do no gear…
I wouldn’t worry to much. I know in threads I was two pulls to short and in GB I didn’t realize you had to pull almost all of the trash so we had to backtrack all the way to the second boss area.
In one no one said a word in the other the leader pinged stuff but no one said anything there either. I think you might have just gotten a bad group.

The game needs AI tanks for all instanced content.
that’s why most raid tanks are just people who were already in the guild that just volunteered, usually officers lol, no one wants to raid tank, its also extremely boring imo

A good fix is the introduction of AI tanks for all content.
A bad fix would be to play how you don’t want to play because the game is designed poorly.
Fully agree with this. WoW players or at least PuGs are genuinely just nasty at times. I don’t blame tanks and healers for not wanting to PuG.

I don’t think it is about worrying as much as it is about not wanting to deal with it in any capacity. You’re probably right just a bad group but it is far too common of an experience for people and it sours wanting to do any future pug tanking.

I don’t mind playing a tank in group content.
But outside of group content? Playing any tank spec is miserable.
I have a couple tanks at level 70, but I’m too scared to join groups cuz I can’t handle people being mean to me. 
I actually really want to try bear tanking but im so nervious about people being toxic which scares me. 
I love playing my blood dk, but I won’t do group content because it’s just a stressful experience. The community is very bad. I play to relax.
For anyone that is interested, there is a discord out there called “WoW made easy” that has a really chill community - it would be great for people that want to learn dungeons/mythics. I often see learning groups for either the dungeons or for new healers/tanks and people join expecting growing pains, i always have a great experience with groups from WME. they have people pushing keys too

This community would still figure out how to harrass them enough to make them quit.

I love tanking.
No one ever complains to me because I chain pull a bunch. So if we die it’s the healers fault anyway.

I would love to tank more but pugs are always rush rush rush and im just not interested. Just let me go at my pace and I’ll handle it but the moment someone starts yapping about “pull more” or “pull faster” I just remember why I don’t tank pugs anymore. You wanna go faster, great. Go role a tank yourself.
