Aint that simple. Tanking is now a harder role which requires you to actually fight to live while relying on the healer to also keep you up. You also don’t get to feel good by doing damage.
It’s that people don’t WANT to be potato punching bags. They want to be tanking juggernauts.
Nah, the DKs and Warriors apparently don’t need healing. Well, I should say the few. Because then you have tanks that fall over like paper.

Warriors tanks can still take a beating. i know because i am one and i know how to play my class well. I asked some healers on streams and in discord on who the squishiest tank are and all of them say prot pallies.
Nah your good bro. According to faux we don’t need tanks anymore and we can go ahead and close this thread. Just make everyone dps and healers. Im sure the healers will love that. they will be begging for prot pallys lol

Iv come discover on these forums that ppl with thousands of posts and not a community member or council just like to talk a lot and dont actually contribute much to the forums. They just like to sit on their thrones looking down at all the peons and expect us to take their words as gold. I find it hilarious and quite sad. Im not taking his bait, im actually having a good time with it lol
People with low post counts alt hop, or use many alts on forums usually. It’s not impressive.

So, how many alts do you have to make up your 30k post count? Caring so much about post counts is just strange.
After the abusive beating we took in Regs and Heroics, most of us will now only tank for our guilds. We have no interest in taking more “Speed up! Slow Down! Stop making the DPS tank what THEY pulled and be a tank!” so now we are playing how WE want to with whom we choose. Also, people are welcome to make their own tanks and experience the abuse for themselves. So many people avoid tanking and healing because THEY are held responsible by the DPS is ANYTHING bad happens. So best just to ignore them and go play with guilds and friends. I have 6 tanks, and unless it is Coren Direbrew or Timewalking, my random queue days are DONE. 
Maybe folks will start showing tanks a bit more respect.
Post count is per character, not per account. High post counts just mean someone who either trolls or complains here a lot. The lower the post count, the more likely that person is to be playing the game, and not whining about it
I would say i have maybe 500 posts across 2 toons? I did a race/name change and apparently it resets your forum posts etc. Thats why its low. You are correct though. I’m actually playing the game right now and enjoying myself on my tank. Prot pally btw, healer is keeping up just fine and no drama. Its great 
Exactly this. The more I tank, the more I realize which content to avoid.
Prot Pally is the absolute WIN, especially in Timewalking content.
Nothing makes more sense than winding up a big 'ol pyroblast or aimed shot while a boss that’s 10 times your size wails on your face.
I was implying the reasoning behind post counts NOT that i cared about them. I could care less how many posts you have made. I just know the excessive ones tend to be the most toxic or like to puff their chest and pretend their words are sacred. So no, caring about posts counts is not why i brought it up. But nice try.
