Agreed. I mean, I quickly googled “Webster Dictionary Elitism” and found this:
There’s a tension with Studio 54 between elitism and egalitarianism.— [Julia Felsenthal, Vogue , “Matt Tyrnauer’s New Documentary, Studio 54, Takes On the Rise, Fall, and Last Days of Disco,” 4 Oct. 2018]
Resorting to name calling…that thing you pointed out you hated so much. Please tell me what in this game allows you to spend money to get a real advantage over other players who don’t. The wow token? 100k is not hard to come up with and in most freemium games it takes a month of not paying to make up the amount even a $5 transaction would provide.
Your OP is by far one of the most ridiculous pay to win models I have seen in awhile. You would not only destroy the entire market (get ready for 10k gold flasks) but you would also invalidate any sort of reason to do anything when you straight up say you can buy gear.
You two keep doing it, but at least you are talking about the thread now.
You buy a carry for gold. Gold spent on a WoW Token for Bnet Balance.
I hate it so much because once it does, fights literally drag on for more than 10 minutes. Time best spent actually playing than shouting vitriol at those who support Raid or Die or anything similar.
This all stems from you calling me a troll October of last year.
I am pro-casual. I advocate for the casuals to feel more rewarded. For RNG to not take a dump on us. Pro-flying, Anti-pathfinder+gating, Pro-Pathfinder minus gating, pro-JP/VP + WF/TF/Tert/Socket, basically giving the player more agency and feeling good and giving them reasons to play.
And you know what you said?
“You are a troll, and I stand by my hatred/name/etc.”
Your current attitude towards my threads in general is indicative of this. Your bloody sarcasm in this thread alone was enough to tell me of this.
The game is already pro casual. The fact that normal and heroic raiding are almost a complete waste of time because everyone can get 400 IL in arguably easier content (assuming at least 7/9 H) is already telling of this.
In that single thread 6 months ago. You created what I felt like was a troll post. Something so far fetched it was insane for me to think someone seriously meant it.
How are casuals not rewarded right now? You get nearly the best gear in the entire game for a fraction of the work that is needed for the next step.
You get mad at someone calling you a troll, yet you are regularly calling me names, and making up things I said. So I will add another word. Hypocrite.
You can’t take it, but you are constantly dishing it out to anyone that disagrees with you.
This game is incredibly casual based to get 400+ ilvl gear.
If you can’t comprehend that more than one person can find your claims to have absolutely zero basis in reality then I don’t know what to tell you. Casual content is fine. The current true “victims” (if there even are any) are the semi-hardcore since there is absolutely zero reason to be a part of a normal or heroic raiding guild. Blizzard has made it so pug friendly (barring ONE boss) that there is no reason to commit to a time and steady roster. “Why show up to raid when I can just PUG after my closing shift on wednesday?”
If that’s your goal, then you are a hypocrite there, too.
The discussion turned into an argument. You exploited my inability to tell friend from foe.
Basically, to have a discussion is to agree and send hearts/likes. You are doing neither. To me and anyone else. You could be like “Hm, this idea needs working, do this and that rather than so and so.”
