The Sub fee should enable a premium, not earn a right

…what?

I am literally participating in a conversation you brought up.

If you don’t want people to talk about things, don’t mention them.

That answer makes no sense.

It’s quite easy to get a rather high item level the way it is. Why should it be easier?

This thread was over the second you suggested the game go freemium P2W. No one is going to agree with that. In fact…yeah pretty much no one in this thread was agreeing with you.

I understand what you are trying to do. The problem is the current dev team will not even acknowledge how weak heirlooms are for leveling in BFA leveling content compared to Azerite.

Heirlooms are sold as a veteran reward for leveling alts but it turns out to not be a reward.

A sub fee to WoW used to entail a quality product which is what you would expect from a p2p game. But WoW uses freemium and free 2 play gimmicks now and denies subscribed players of any true benefits.

I want you to read this.

I.E, Medaax, Akston, the game is Freemium F2P.

Please define “Freemium F2P”.

Someone saying something doesn’t automatically make it true.

There is a shop. There are WoW tokens. There’s an illegal carry service Blizzard can capitalize on by making legal.

Define the term “illegal”.

I am still trying to figure out how any of that meets the definition for “freemium f2p”

You remember how selling gold was once illegal? Meet the WoW token.

I bet selling carries will be made legal soon, too.

Does this mean I don’t get a definition for “freemium f2p”?

Made soon? Selling carries for gold has NEVER been against the rules. For the past 15 years people have been able to sell carries for gold 100% legally.

Also buying gold with money outside of the token is still against ToS. Its still to do with how the gold is acquired.

Yup all the evidence points to WoW being a freemium. People will deny it because it is one step closer to a true free 2 play. But WoW devs will never openly admit this because it would erode those that do choose to sub over buying a token to sell for gold.

There is exactly 0 evidence of WoW being a freemium game.

Please define “freemium”. I mean, I know you won’t. But I will ask anyways.

I am not certain yall two know what those words mean.

Please back up your claims. The burden of evidence is on those making the claims. With how much “evidence” you seem to be spouting on about you should be able to enlighten my small brain on how this game is a “freemium”.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemium

Freemium , a portmanteauof the words “free” and “premium”, is a pricing strategy by which a product or service (typically a digital offering or an application such as software, media, games or web services) is provided free of charge , but money (premium) is charged for additional features, services, or virtual (online) or physical (offline) goods. The business model has been in use by the software industry since the 1980s as a licensing scheme. A subset of this model used by the video game industry is called free-to-play.

You guys are totally blind. It’s Sub+Freemium, the rarest and worst model for a game.

At least I can stomach actual Freemium, not Sub+Freemium. It’s both P2W and P2P.

Let me guess, then you two are going to use your magic Elitism and pretend everything my casual mouth says is false.

I am going to use my Webster Dictionary Elitism.

Worse because it is also a buy 2 play.

And yeah I already offered my definition of a freemium which is not surprising they glossed over it quickly!
