The Sub fee should enable a premium, not earn a right

You probably don’t understand this and never will.

For so long as your kind is in power, it’s your world, and nobody else can live in it.

Premade Groups. Big problem #1. RNG. Big problem #2.

So the ability to create a group in WoW is a problem?

Vaulty tried that, his video was downvoted into oblivion.

Discussions don’t thrive when everyone agrees with each other. If you post something and everyone agrees then the post has no meaning and accomplished nothing. I can post that the sky is blue. No one is going to disagree with me (without a disorder). The conversation goes nowhere. Differing viewpoints cause conversations to go into different directions thus opening up new ideas that would not have been considered before. If everyone agrees and we all share hearts and such then progress comes to a halt and nothing changes ever.

Let me put it this way. You and Akston are not disagreeing in a constructive fashion.

Akston has a reputation for this in my book.

You have a reputation as well.

I’d rather have a reputation as someone who wants WoW better than one who wants WoW to die.

I like how you keep saying “your kind” like we are some lesser being that you can’t stand looking at and want zero association with. It reminds me of some things I won’t exactly say because I would rather not go on a forum vacation.

Then you should seriously rethink all your suggestions you have been spamming the forums with lately. They would kill WoW.

That being said, I hope you have a great night.

Lesser? You have all the content in the world. You don’t care what others think. As I stated, it’s your world, and nobody else can live in it.

Go ahead, enjoy your forum vacation.

You are being what you are saying to casuals.

@Akston

Your defending of Ion’s Raid or Die is what is killing WoW.

But fine.

Please stop lying about me.

Anyone can live in the world of 400+ IL. How do you think people got there in the first place? There can’t be an impenetrable barrier to entry otherwise not a single player can be on the other side.

Also Akston has straight up said that “WoW is not raid or die. Far from it.” Or something close like 3 times in this very thread. Pretty sure you yourself replied to all instances so you would have had to read it.

Also, if I didn’t care about what you think I would have zero posts here. I care that you have done nothing but spout claims with next to no evidence backing them and present them as fact. As I said in one of my posts here “just because someone says something does not make it true”.

So i’m reading through these posts and all i see is someone that wants to change pretty much everything about the game including making the game free and making carries legal to make money?

Am i reading this right?

And you me.

@Darktalon

Depends. If I am your friend, the OP is on the top for you to like. If not, then feel free to not do what Akston and Medaax are doing.

@ Everyone Else

Basically, my thoughts can be summed up in this thread (If not, then WOD = BFA In my opinion, WOD > BFA in OP’s): https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/wod-bfa-bfa-is-terrible/24956/915

The sub fee does enable a premium.

  • It allows you to play from level 20 to 120.
  • It allows you to earn gold in the game.
  • It allows you to interact with other players.
  • Starting this summer, it will enable you to play on “Classic” servers.

The free to play game caps out at level 20. No purchase necessary. Though, personally, I think the free-to-play game should be expanded to level 60.

Player agency is missing and the current WoW business model is a freemium with b2p gating which is why not many new players are showing up at the door step of WoW.

F2P games are a lot more toxic then subscription games, and I will quit if this game goes F2p. Besides, most F2P, maybe all, went that way because their subscription model wasn’t paying the bills, however, this game is still subsisting on the subscription model since its inception in 2004.

Methinks this is the OP’s way of getting something for nothing simply because they’re entitled to it.
