You pay a sub fee to access the Blizzard Account Blizzard has allowed you to create.
And log onto their servers. Everything regarding your WoW account is theirs, they can take it anytime they want, and do whatever they want to it.
That is the terms of service, you’re paying to have access to it.

Tried to fix the thread, only to be told this.
When Pakurzak agreed and actually suggested a constructive idea, I replied with both a like and a positive feedback loop.
You are correct that WoW has a sub fee but no perks for players that do choose to sub.
Which is strange given the current WoW business model is a freemium. A freemium I would define as being both part subscription and free 2 play. Basically a freemium is a hybrid of two pay models. WoW is also buy 2 play as well but that is for another discussion.
Anyways, you are correct that other MMOs and MMORPGs on the market offer perks for players that sub or encourage them to sub.
The only perk WoW has is to encourage players to use real life money to buy tokens to sell for gold. That is it honestly.
From what I’ve read he’s not allowed to voice his opinion without being called someone who doesn’t play the game or being told to get lost.
