no i donât use it because its automated I use it because its smaller and more aesthetically pleasing than have my old combat log detached.
hereâs the thing i donât think the problem is spy i think your just a bad rogue looking for and excuse as to why you are so bad.
It alerts you to a nearby stealthed player, but it doesnât mean you can magically see them.

Hyperbole doesnât help your cause. Players know youâre in the area. They know youâre in stealth but it does not make your ability to attack players from stealth âobsoleteâ.
Just do like other rogues. Wait til theyâre low hp or oom from fighting mobs. Donât even need stealth.
On top of this, it doesnât even alert you to a nearby stealthed player if said player was already stealthed before they entered your draw range.
OP just appears to be a bad player clutching at straws to explain why heâs doing so poorly.

You assume too much. The addon personally stopped me from nothing.
Iâm discussing how it breaks rogues, not how it personally affected me.
Easy moders, 100% retail customers who canât play Classic as it is,
customers like you,
just need to make things personal because you have no real logical arguments.
As a rogue I can confirm there is nothing wrong with SPY.
If youâre worried about SPY ruining your ganking abilities, you clearly canât play a rogue.

If you canât play without SPY then you are bad player.
Thatâs why you use it.
And you twist that and accuse the people who need NO extra game help from suspicious software, of having no skills.

I donât think anyone has any claimed they canât play without Spy. Itâs more that itâs nice having a convenient heads-up that a player just stealthed nearby without having to stare at the combat logs.

The forum is infested with dissatisfied retail player who leveled a classic char, and just post easy mode requests to destroy Classic too with their demand for easy mode, in a hope to make a new retails from Classic since retail servers are dead.
