Because of the mass marketing campaign Blizzard Activision went on during WOTLK. Ozzy/Mr.T/etc did more for WOTLK than the content itself imo.
Many people felt, for a long time, that WOTLK heroics were a joke. Especially compared to TBC and CATA.
More activity is good. The game is on life support with 75% of the player base raid logging and playing retail/Era as their main.
OOF. Yea FFXIV isnt the answer if youre already upset about WOTLKC content lmao.
Should of been done months ago.
Yes it does; because the Sidereal essence costs are redic, so if youre playing WOTLKC as a main you will be raiding ulduar every week as well as ToGC.
The affixes are pretty simple for a modern MMORPG gamer. Its just classic andys cant even deal with simple mechanics like stacking for webs and breaking them.
Because there isnt any other content anyway if H+ wasnt there so stop crying that Blizzard is tryna fix this wack expansion with no content outside raid logging and be happy you perpetually upset village idiot.
Lack of RDF makes playing alts suck because itâs a solo experience and H+ actively makes trying to run regular heroics on a fresh 80 harder and unlike M+ in retail add almost nothing for people already raiding.
Because its easier to do a Nax 10 msos at 3k gs on a fresh 80 than it is to do regular heroics and you gear much faster as well. Than you can go into H+ and get to 4.2k+ than find Ulduar groups.
So what are we talking about fresh 80s or our mains. What are you actually mad about?
H+ drops worse gear than T7 raids so as far as gearing itâs a complete dud. The only reason people run it is for the extra 3 badges. And itâs not more content the people running it would be running the daily heroic anyways.
Were literally having a conversation about it getting upgraded rn to uld 10 man. You get 1 p1 WT lockout a week after that you go in H+ and focus on pieces youre still missing to get into Ulduar. Its not a complicated system at all. It just allows easier gearing for alts.
The way to stop this stuff is stop doing it. They just look at spreadsheets. If they see people doing something then they automatically think they must like it because they are doing it even though its just forced.
LFR seen high engagement, not because people like it but because it dropped tier set items and they did it to get the tier set bonus asap.
They could put emblems in dailies. Like 5 of the previous tier emblem per daily and people would flood them. It doesnt mean its a good idea or that people like it but look everyone I fixed daily quest engagement so its a success!
LFR as a concept was fine, but it didnât actually address the problems that caused it to be added. Flex raiding did but that wasnât added till end of MoP.
It allowed people to see the content since so few people actually seen it without having to stick to a schedule. WoW is a gear driven game through and through, so they made an incentive for people to run it and that changed what LFR was actually trying to do.
Early Cataclysm (4.0-4.2) killed off mom & pop raid pugging, and LFR co-opted it like public transportation.
Itâs an interesting contrast with dungeon content. Through ease and RDF, Wrath confirmed that players didnât mind if 5-mans were highly consumable instead of gated timesinks like Vanilla and BC.
