Savage raiding is very fun, same with EX trials and generally you don’t have that high of a wipe count (for most bosses) while progressing. It’s also nice not having trash.
Ultimate’s on the other hand can give Mythic Raiding in WoW a run for its money, while savage is more on par with Heroic.
But ya if you have 1000 wipes on 1st boss of Savage… you need to find a better static/FC/group.
Addons like DBM imo a just a crutch, its so nice not needing it in FFXIV since I can see what the boss is doing by paying attention.
Nitpick and misrepresent what happened all you want. At this point there is no salvaging the situation. They made their beds, and they must lie in it. All the screeching from elitists and their condescending false claims can’t change the fact that this is a horrible PR decision that you are supporting, that will cost your lords and masters a ton of money in the long run. Watch raiding go from its lowest point in recent memory to even lower.
Any casual who doesn’t think this is exactly how they’re planning on screwing over casuals again in Dragonflight is taking a non-reality faith-based position.
Normal is easy, I’m not saying it isn’t. What I am saying is you need 3-4 hours of uninterrupted time to clear them.
Alot of people can’t commit to that time. And Friendship communities aren’t going to carry people through 31 bosses as compared to if you just needed to kill the 3 final bosses.
You are lying to yourself. Flip it around, would you be outraged if you were led to believe it was only normal+ but then it swapped to LFR? I don’t even need your answer.
I’m screeching? After replying to the 100th thread about the same post which it boils down to you said something then you changed your mind give me the mount in LFR or else. There’s a word I’m thinking of let me check the oxford dictionary real quick…
feeling that you have a right to the good things in life without necessarily having to work for them hmmm…
3-4 Hours over potentially months per raid seems pretty reasonable to me?
Some people likely would, but I think most players would be happy more people could get it.
I don’t see how giving more people something equates to misleading players for 3 months before “fixing” it.
No, my opinion, and belief is there’d be complaining, but nowhere near this level backlash from the LFR community. Plenty of Normal raiders already came out and said they don’t care if LFR gets it. It’s the Blizz apologist that are the issue, they operate in a world where blizz is never wrong, and debating that mentality is futile.
