A bit irrelevant as that’s just speculation.
With Blizzard’s track record, I think it’s a fair assumption. They removed the original mage tower when Legion was over.
I approve of this!
Yep. They changed it after you got their money, and they did it in a way intended to show them how you really feel about other people who play the game. Danged average players, how dare they not be in the top 1%?
Blizzard said zero about friendship mount runs. The GM who made that statement made it clear he was only speaking for himself and not the company.
After the disaster that was the Sepulcher raid tuning experiment, all difficulties are way down. Way, way down. You drove most normal guilds out of raiding entirely. Good work! Does real raiding feel more epic now because fewer people are doing it?
Which is exactly why raiding is absolute garbage in that game, It quite literally is learning a dance because the only mechanics are safe places on the floor.
Why else would it be “normal” for some fights (one boss) to take over 1000 wipes regularly? No thanks.
This suggest Blizzard is incapable of false advertisement, which this situation defintely resembles. You can’t dodge the fact that it was advertised as “any” difficulty, and then changed a day before the live patch, which is falsely advertising something. You can’t then just say Live and PTR are all subject to change for whatever and whenever. That’s a user agreement that is stepping over it’s bounds. Companies are allowed to do many things with their products privately, but you can’t sell something as such, switch it and it’s not falsely advertising.
Sure but that was an expectation set with communication and was communicated to the playerbase in a timely manner.
This is a similar situation of the Brontosaur where the removal was datamined and not communicated to the player.
Well what the frigging hell is this whole debacle about the slime cat, if not lack of communications?!?!?!?!?
Murdercarpet once again logging a full 12 hour work day trying to argue everyone on the GD while pretending a commitment to household chores prevents him from doing literally something in game.
A true representative of the every-day casual.
I don’t get your response. They didn’t communicate until it was too late. They had 3 months to clarify.
Exactly! So who’s to say if the Mage Tower is really gonna stick…? Maybe they just forgot to communicate it.
Sorry but your responses are nonsensical.
I’m moving on.
Yea right that was clearly their attention, thank goodness Blizzard is so smart that they decided the best way to make money and continue to make money was to fleece casuals.
Uh? It came from the blue poster who was chosen to reply to the message, don’t you think if they didn’t agree we would have seen some kind of contradicting evidence yet? Haven’t heard a peep yet to be real.
I’m sorry? I didn’t realize I had that kind of power, but you’re right i can feel it coursing through my veins… You better watch out unless you want LFR completely gone next expansion.
You say disaster, I say perfect. I did Mythic though and you did…some other difficulty I guess? They tuned appropriately with the waves coming at good times for guilds progressing on it.
I’m sorry you’re not able to get everything you want in game for no effort.
No they’re not. My original response was to one guy saying OH because the poll was available to everyone, then the slime cat should be too.
But news flash, book is still not available to everyone, yet the outrage died out.
The outrage will die out on this one too.
“Why don’t people complain about AOTC mounts?”
“Why don’t people complain about PvP mounts?”
“Why are people upset about this mount?”
- 3 MONTHS ON LIVE SERVERS THE ACHIEVEMENT SAID “ANY DIFFICULTY” AND EVEN WOWHEAD WAS TALKING ABOUT IT.
- 5 DAYS BEFORE SEASON 4 STARTED A SINGLE RESPONSE BY A CM SAID “NORMAL AND UP” THEN REFUSED TO SPEAK FURTHER ON THE MATTER
- LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED THE ACHIEVEMENT WAS HOTFIXED TO BE “NORMAL OR HIGHER”
- BLIZZARD HAS BEEN RADIO SILENT STILL AND IGNORING EVEN THE CC POST
Hopefully this clears things up for those who keep asking the same questions despite the answers being readily available.
That’s nice dear
They have no intention of understanding. They’re just Blizz robots, and will defend anything. It’s worse than it looks. It’s false advertising.
It doesn’t matter. The outrage is about it not being LFR. You’re a fool if you think them communicating about it to say sorry about it or whatever is gonna change anything.
I fixed it for you.
Hope that helps clarify things.
I love that we’re getting more and more “Hey i actually did normal and it wasn’t that bad” threads.
Can’t wait to see them over the next few months while the remainder sit here and keep flooding the forums with the same thread with a different wrapper over and over.
