The ship is sinking, will you stay on board?

Nearly everyone seems to be nothing but gloom and doom these days.

Something will happen and draw peoples attention away or they’ll simply run out of things to say and the topic will die down. There will still be the intermittent “never forget!” threads but it’ll mostly be gone soon enough.

Whenever there’s an update to the case you can expect 5-7 new threads on it though

I mean I could create a post on how great the current state of the game and company is, but then I would just be lying to myself and it will probably get flagged.

Probably a Blizzard employee.

Nah, I tried FF14. Loved playing a hot cat boy. And the story was really good. Japanese writers are dope. But It will never replace my thick woman panda’s. Nor my fluffy Vulpera’s. So I’ll just sink with the ship. If It even sinks.

I dont feel the ship is sinking. There might be storm but I dont think the ship would sink.

And if there would be no new content, hope the new Diablo 2 or Diablo 4 comes out.

D2. Says a lot about the current state of Blizzard when the only hyped thing to look forward to is recycled content.

That’s why there’s D4. Your logic is nonsense.

Oh ok let me edit that for you.

Says a lot about the current state of Blizzard when the only hyped content in the near decade to look forward to is recycled content like Diablo 2.

Hype Is for the simple minded to focus on.

To be honest, the only reason I keep playing is because some of my friends are playing too and we do dungeons 2 or 3 times a week.

I stopped raiding in Dazar’alor due to Enhancement being a crap spec to play and be forced to play other specs that wasnt my 1st option. From then I’m just playing casual a couple months at the time.

All that into Shadowlands has been the same.

If the expansion gets better in the next patch I’ll keep playing. If not, F it. I will play the way Blizzards wants: 1 or 2 months to watch the new patch and then goodbye for the next 6-8 months until next patch.

I’m tired of broken specs that have been broken for years. Fixes to classes that never came. Broken systems like the covenants. Tedious grinds like anima. Ion’s interviews that clearly shows how little passion or innovation he and his team have to create the game. And the overall sense that the content added is always the same: new raid, new season and that’s it.

It’s been too long since Warcraft Devs had a good innovative and groundbreaking idea. They have become lazy and uninspired and the game shows it.

So, subscriptions (or at least mine) is gonna be uninspired too.

So much so, that most gamers pre-purchase these days.

Yea I’m sure you know the entire statistics of pre-order then after launch numbers.

I have a hunch that Blizzard did pretty well with their Shadowland pre-sales. :joy:

I bought It. About the only thing I can remember pre-ordering the last 5 years however. I feel like the factor of time will over draw the numbers of pre-orders. Though the pre sales surely boost the pocket linings.

Here, I will give you a hint, Shadowlands pre-sales are the highest of any other World of Warcraft expansion yet. Hypa, hypa.

My point being that the hype trains can be anywhere at anytime. And the only true hype that should matter Is your own. And not following the bandwagons. Thus stating that hype Is overrated because It’s fickle.

Says the person who pre-ordered Shadowlands.

I knew I was going to play Shadowlands. That never changed and you make no new points to reveal anything.
