I mean, i can’t play WoW properly since BFA anyway. I check new content, get burned out by systems and timegates and go on a 6+ month pause.
Playing FF now, leveling alt jobs. Red mage class storyline was pretty good. Lvl 70 class set is awesome

There is a critical point at which wow will never recover, I dont think we have hit that point yet but every patch we nudge 1 step closer to the line of the game being over.
My whole guild has unsubbed and we are now looking at the alternatives while playing some lan style games together to pass the time.
I was planning on playing till my sub ended but I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to do ingame today, which is a surprising change from week 1 of 9.1 when I bought/crafted rank 6 leggo templates for 3 characters ready for this week of which I actually turned 1 into a rank 6 item the others will never get used.
Partly its just the lack of groups on alliance and partly it’s just the same content I did in 9.0 and got bored of in like 10 weeks anyway.
you guys crack me up loyalty in a fantasy video game really don’t matter some of you really need to get back into reality and worry about being loyal to things that really matter real life at the end of the day video games are just like tv worthless lol. the game is old people come and go constantly cause boredom even when they truly like the game. no one stays subbed long enough or constantly disappear anyway to even think about being loyal to a guild is quite humorous maybe if it’s all your family.
I’m kind of the same but with RP and customization stuff.
I’m playing due to my friends, if my friends never persuaded me to play again. I wouldn’t be playing or be subbed right now.
Shadowlands, isn’t a bad expansion. But it’s not a very good one IMHO either. They messed up in a lot of areas and with 9.1 not bringing anything really new to the table. I have no overwhelming desire to continue playing for the content.
Me and my friends are actively ignoring Shadowlands content right now, solely due to not wanting to do those f***ing zones again. And I’m personally not very interested in the capped content that would be readily available to me.
No matter the length of the content drought, personally I’m leaning in favor of 9.2 being a loose ends type of patch to tie the Shadowlands story-line to completion and then have whatever remains of Team 2, start working on the next expansion. That’s kind of where I’m at right now.
With the lawsuit especially, I don’t see Team 2 remaining the same. No matter what happens, whether that’s good or bad who knows.
Meh, Blizz isn’t struggling for profits. Despite a huge loss in subs profits are at a all-time high. They make far more from micro-transactions than subs. As more people leave they just expand the cash shop. Whales are their playerbase now.
I am still trying to get my ripcord to work so I can open my parachute. WE ON A BOAT now?
I was looking to dip out end of sub.
Legion is my wanted content. Not needing to be KSM/full heroic raid clear for 9.1 lol.
Not there yet, ride time out, lapse, back when its there. 9.2 or 9.3…blizzard controls that thread of fate.
So you think people are going to want to spend more money on a dying game?
If the game’s pop plummets then so will microtransactions.
I am sure blizzard will do fine with their profits from wow but it wont be my money.
I will probably buy d4 (as I quite like the diablo series) no interest in d2r (they have shown they are terrible at reforging old games and making them fun). Which is nothing compared to what they would have received from me in a year if wow was good (2 accounts multiple level boosts, race changes, tokens server swaps and thats just the last 12 months).
If the game is fun I’ll always play. If they keep making fun dungeons, raids, and actually manage pvp for once. And make the game alt friendly.
What the heck does it even mean to “go down with a sinking ship” if that ship is actually a “video game which isn’t as popular as it used to be”?? People make it sound like it’s staying in a stash house before a drug bust when you have a chance to run before the cops arrive.
This quote is getting lots of use lately
Blizz doesn’t have to make new “content” rapidly for me, as long as those servers are up Blizz is providing to me what I want
We haven’t had a patch update since 1979!
It’s ALMOST a SLAP in the FACE!
Yes… yes I will.
I am already sitting in a lifeboat with my vest on though, being all cozy and snug.
So I am just here to laugh at the panicky folks.
But what about Jack…
I will laugh at him too.
Arise Lord Dalrond, King of the World!
I am getting very sick of all these posts on this topic. Yes, its bad, yes bad stuff was done, yes working at Blizzard has apparently not been a joy for many people. But do we need post after post after post about it?
I have never Muted more posts in my time reading this forum. Please, Gawd, come up with some other topic, just to lighten the gloom!
That’s the problem - they run the entire thing. Ion needs to be replaced immediately - he fosters this type of environment. They will not replace him for some reason. He must have dirt on someone somewhere. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he is going to end up getting this game shut down due to his elitist attitude, lack of vision and failure to protect his own people.
