1 invasion per week? That is some low ball numbers (also it is only 1000 rep). Also if you are farming for this I hope you would do more then 5 WQ a day AND you can get hundreds more from focusing on WQ with rep rewards.
You also get 1500 from the weekly IE quest and 1500 for the warfront quests. Also you can get a ton from mission tables.
You only see 1 - 2 invasions a week. I sit in Tiragarde all day. The invasion pops 1 time a week, sometimes 2 every other week.
I need to check to see if you get reputation from completing the Island Expedition weekly. If I’m not mistaken, you don’t get reputation from that.
As for the Warfront, that doesn’t give you reputation for Proudmoore Admirarlity. Even then, the War Campaign gives you enough rep to be almost exalted when you’re done with it. So, really no complaints about 7th Legion.
This just goes on and on in circles…if you want the work on the work on it…you want gain the allied races…the work on it…there’s nothings stopping you or forcing you to do this. There is no requirements that you have these extra races . If you want them then work for like everyone else, in immortal words of Gandi “Suck it up Buttercup!”
I’m in the same boat as a lot of people here, it ain’t hard to get the reps needed, and we’ve been doing similar grinds since the games inception. The Winterspring Saber anyone? It’s basically the same thing just dressed up better.
If you want the reward (Allied Races, Gear, Mounts, etc.) you put in the time, how little or big, and do it. Allied Races were probably one of the easiest grinds I’ve ever done by simply doing my dailies everyday for a few weeks.
You want Invincible? You go murder Arthas every week, on X amount of characters, until it drops.
You want the Tusks of Mannaroth off Garrosh? Same deal.
You are commenting (complaining) that Blizzard is doing it their way. But then you want it done YOUR way.
No one plays the same way. Why do you think that everyone will want to play it only the way that you do?
If you do not like the way it is, why still play it? Unless you did a level boost to get where you are, you had to do what you are commenting about to get where you are now.
It was not bad the or you would have complained about from the first moment you started to play WOW. But for some reason not, it is a “big deal” to do the same things that we all have been doing for as long as we have been playing?
Why do players think that they should not have to work/earn what they get? Not everything is given to you. Just like in real live. You have to work for your paycheck. Just ask your boss to give it to you without working and see what reaction you get.
I have a feeling that you would even complain that there was nothing to do since you had everything to start with.
Everything has to be Blizzards way, and has been like that since the beginning. Though the only problem about BfA is the rep grind feels extremely unrewarding.
Oh look, an upgrade… Oh wait, need to be exalted with this faction… Oh crap, only so little dailies you can do a day.
BC Rep was more than a grind, that was “you might of well be nothing but bones in the end”.
Invasions happen every 17 hours. I do 3-4 per week.
There are always ALWAYS more then 4-7 across all 3 zones daily. Also the Tortolan and CoA quests should still reward rep with both. You are also ignoring the rep tokens earned from them.
My example is for Kul’Tirans. The invasion on Tiragarde pops 1 time per week, sometimes 2.
Again, I’m specifically talking about Allied Races and that would be Kul’Tirans and Rep Tokens are another thing that would require more than “An hours worth of game time” if we’re going to max out everything. Which would not be a good example for a casual player.
I’m still going to verify this when I get home.
Woooooooo hot dayum! 1 time quest rep when we’re talking about farming and earning reputation.
It’s not fun. We’re required to get reputation through a single method of World Quests and quests. They’ve homogenized reputations, which sucks big time.
Then don’t do it…man over and over…people complaining they just want the stuff given out to them…It’s a reward for complete the story …and learning the lore of the world if you don’t want to do it the don’t…but dont cry when you see other players walking around playing the other races…
I’ve unlocked all of the new reputations and I got all of the Allied races when they were released because I had done everything early. I’d rather critique something a majority of players seemingly dislike rather than stopping altogether.
Well then these "players " A) have a short memory cause we have grind for rep in so many xpac, and far worse grinds than this in the past. B) The player base has a more sense of entitlement than ever you never saw this during BC where people were demanding that everyone should have Nether Drakes , you worked for them or you didn’t.
Just because it was in the game before, doesn’t mean it’s okay today. Also, there were multiple ways to get rep back in the day, compared to being forced down to daily quests.
If someone wants to do raids and dungeons over and over for rep, they should’ve allowed it. Forcing players down 1 play style for a race, is not cool nor should become a standardized norm.
I think you’re forgetting that all of these reputations were different and also served much more meaningful purposes. You grinded reputations at the pace that you saw fit. Now, the rate it which you earn it is trickled by Blizzard each and every day. There’s no player agency in that regard.
The problem isn’t that world quests are an option to grind reputation. It’s that they’re the only option.
UM wrong as we said you can do World quest option 1, you can do Island hops, then buy tokens to gain rep, option 2, use your assignment table option 3, do invasions in that area options 4…so there is different way to get rep as you see…you just refuse to see it.
