LOL part of the reason GDKP’s are popular is because you don’t end up with someone who got carried and contributed nothing walking away with loot. A few MS/OS runs where the guy who stands in fire every fight getting your items changes a lot of people’s opinions.
no I hate the people who think running one and stealing the pot at the end think it’s ok. We all farm hard or some (buy) obviously nowadays but to take the gold given to you and ruining a game to trust is just absurd.

How often does a masterlooter do anything? Absolute horse bollocs. People join guilds because of that. Ms/os pug runs are full of people grey parsing and winning bis. Gdkps and guilds are the only place with minimum standards bar a few exceptions and the reality is those raids are mostly guild with pug fills. Full pugs with maybe 3-4 of any given guild are a nightmare.
GDKP was a response to that situation. Your good players didn’t want to do old content and you were left with the dredges. A little bit of gold that meant they could raid for their consume money instead of doing laps in un’goro sounded quite good to them. A partnership was naturally born.
Every green geared player I see who got boosted 1-60 and has absolutely no quest rewards or trinkets sitting on 50,000 gold budgets buying everything. It’s pretty clear to me.
