Hardcore was the only version of WoW with any integrity, which was the only reason I started playing again. But they undercut it with clown world SOD and now I’m back to other games.
TBH mass reporting anyone who advertises GDKPs is a great community solution. Everyone knows they are vehicles for cheating. Even the people in them joke about how big buyers are gold buyers, it’s not some mystery. It forces Blizzard to deal with the reports, forces them to contend with their moronic automated reporting system, and/or purges some of the cheaters, at least for a while.

You’re free to feel however you need to feel. But people have been running GDKP raids since Vanilla, it’s not going anywhere.
Eh I played vanilla from release on one of the big raiding servers in one of the big raiding guilds and there was no-one running GDKP. Maybe around late TBC or WOTLK people started doing this stuff, but it was still fairly niche. Even in 2019 classic (I was a MT on a big raid server) very few people were doing it out of the gate. It really picked up about a year later in 2020 when people were in naxx and aq40 and “done” with the game.

No, dual boxing is not pay to win. I do this myself, its a fun challenge. You can farm certain things more easily that are profitable (e.g., frostmaul ekos in winterspring), but it’s also significantly more challenging and there’s no RMT involved. You’re still just playing the base game as intended, essentially duoing with a friend but the friend is yourself with higher APM.

Well, if it wasn’t happening on your server, then it wasn’t happening.
