The real reason you hate GDKPS

Is pay for convenience P2W?
Yes, paying for any convenience makes that game pay-to-win. Any game that gives the player a better experience (even if random) over someone else who’s not paying is considered by most to be P2W. Not only do these conveniences make the game P2W, but they also make the game worse because the developer wants to design inconveniences that entice people to spend money.

For all you ignorant, gold buying children.

What percentage do you think this is? I am willing to bet it is incredibly low. So low as to not really even matter.

And in WoW RMT doesn’t even impact your ability to get it.

You still don’t seem to understand GDKP’s are killing the same bosses as any other raid. With the same items and the same drop rates and the same lockouts.

What does a non gdkp player need with that much gold?

you are correct but you are not supporting your argument properly. convenience is p2w but only if its directly taking effect. buying gear isnt p2w bc u still have to do the content therefore you are just buying out the competition. with this being understood now, you can only say its p2w if it in a competitive pvp argument. which in sod its not so youre wrong here dude. gdkp is p2w in wrath classic and thats it. and even in wotlk gdkp p2w in arena is really just an advancement and only matters in 2200 or lower brackets

Pretty easy to buy out competiton when you bought a ton of gold.

Good lord.

You guys arent even trying lol. So desperate to keep your bought gear farming.

My point is it wasn’t made legitimately.

Clearly RMT’d for it. But we will go with it being “legit” farmed, I guess.

It is a tiny amount. The vast majority of GDKP’s have very easily met minimum bids and the vast majority of items go for entirely reasonable amounts.

The people claiming otherwise are people who never GDKP, have only seen one or two click bait videos and refuse to accept those aren’t the norm.

I think you are confusing the word “paying”. Paying with in game gold that anyone can get for loot that drops for anyone isnt pay to win. Again, “paying” to win is with REAL MONEY IN REAL LIFE NOT GOLD IN A VIDEO GAME. Anyone can get gold in wow. It isnt pay to win because anyone has the exact same resources and abilities to get that gold, the only thing people dont have that are equal would be time I suppose. SO i guess you could say wow is “time to win” not “pay to win”

Ah yes, the ‘Pokimane Defense’

Except in WoW you literally can’t buy out the competition.

never heard of “pokimane” until today lol

Well check it out. Calling her simps broke boys didn’t work out so well for em.

Its high enough that theres a video floating around of a silly botfarm where they have like 40+ instances of the game on about 5 or 6 different tv screens. Just a couple people running it. Nobody will ever know the number but just a couple people contributing to over 200 accounts says the number being as low as you are implying is unlikely. Also consider you can make a living wage doing this in certain parts of the world.

Its paying for items you can only get by spending real money on.

How can you bribe raid bosses to drop the items you bought gold for?

Lmao I never saw a dft go for more than 10, I bought mine for 3k. Wild lies and projection.

No it isnt.

You are incredibly misinformed.

It includes paying for conveience sorry chief.

Are you seriously this ignorant?

My goodness lol

Gold doesn’t change anything about the raids, it doesn’t change the difficulty, it doesn’t change the drop tables, it doesn’t change the lockouts.

So once again no you are not able to buy convenience with gold.

Across all servers and factions, again low enough to be fairly irrelevant. Yet people are acting like it is the driving force behind a GDKP.
