The Real Problem With The Maw, And The Solution

Only 4 world quests is piss in the wind

I think bonuses should be removes unless given equally to both sides, I’ve said that multiple times today and I stand by it because neither side should have an advantage over the other simply because that’s the faction you pick to play.

So to be clear you are unhappy with both the idea of your bonus going away, but also at the solution for the unique maw mechanics?

Because my initial point that you said you didn’t get was the fact you can still do the quest in the rest of the Maw.

Ok cool story bro, but if this was the other way around you’d be qqing just the same.

Downvote me all you want too, hasn’t been an option for over a year, but hey, you do you.

4 world quests across different zones typically takes me about an 30-45 minutes of my time, if we include travel. With the Maw ganking, players were gaining 500 anima much quicker than those of us without AOO. Now, the quest (AOO) should take about as much time as it takes me to complete 4 world quests.

It’s equal. You’re missing the qualifier.

you gonna resurrect that button on the forums? then I’ll happily press it

Turn. Off. Warmode.

Well I’m not opposed to the Alliance bonus tbh. As someone who enjoys World PvP, it really sucks to be actively seeking PvP when you’re the only faction phased in.

It sucks a bit for me, since being on a major RP shard, I actually experience a lot more Alliance than Horde in WM. And they still get the bonus.

But I don’t lose sleep at night over it. Still love PvP. As I said, I’m just glad the griefing is handled.

Sorry I think you’re confusing me for someone else. I never said I cared about the quest. In fact I thought I made it clear that I don’t do the quest

Agreed. This isnt more ‘horde bias’ this is just a busted system… One of many we have experienced over the years, sadly

But you do care a solution was given for the maw mechanics and the entrance? And have described the issue of anima in question as not being important enough to take away basically? Now I’m confused?

What’s the point of being mad at both the solution Blizzard just implemented and trying to defend the Alliance War Mode bonus if you don’t care about it?

Gee, this sounds awfully familiar. As if it was happening during a previous expansion, but reversed. It’s a good thing Bliz stepped in to help then too.

Oh, wait…

Sounds like horde need to git gud.

Karma for all the years of camping, pre-warmode and post-warmode.

You are nicer than me in that regard but I already knew that. :yum: :yum: :yum:

Good points, I’m interested to see where this goes.

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say at this point. I’m not arguing to keep AOO, I’m pointing out its lack of value as an argument for imbalanced world PvP. I couldn’t care less if it were removed, what I do care about is the reason why it would be removed

I also don’t care about what Blizzard added to baby the Horde in the Maw either, what I care about is the two years Horde spent telling Alliance “just turn war mode off lol” but now suddenly that’s such an insult for Alliance players to tell Horde the same thing?

Sounds pretty equal to me. 30 minutes a week is less than an extra 5 minutes a day

That’s the point. An extra time. People without AOO were spending extra time to get the same amount of anima.

I think the point is that you have access to that same WQ investment of time, but also have this bonus, but you said you weren’t defending the bonus so I guess it doesn’t matter huh.

Yeah? It wouldn’t be a bonus if everyone got it
