The bonus is the WM increase (the 15-30%). The anima bonus feels unnecessary imo.
I think warmode should offer absolutely no bonuses. The bonus is getting to pvp in the open world.
You mean the 15-30% bonus exp that’s worthless to people at level 60?
There is a reputation increase as well. Yes, that is what I mean.
Edit: If you find the bonus worthless at 60, turn off WM I suppose. Or give both factions the anima increase for being in WM. Not just one.
There’s no reputation tied to the AOO quest though
I have the suspicion that if the roles were reversed, we would have seen that hotfix 3 months later, instead.
I never said there was. But if you’re in WM with AOO, you’re getting the WM increase already.
I doubt it. The Maw is a poorly designed zone with a poorly designed sanctuary. Blizz would never have kept it the way it was if the “roles were reversed.”
I’d hope not, but we never know. Blizzard has pooped on Alliance before. But the griefing was pretty insane.
And? The rep bonus is irrelevant if you aren’t doing content that awards rep
I would have turned off WM and moved on with my life ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Shhhhhh they can’t handle logic
You’re moving the goalpost. Any content is irrelevant if you aren’t doing it for the rewards of that content.
Anima, however, is a reward for every content.
And 500 anima a week is, say it with me: piss in the wind
No. It isn’t. But you can keep saying it is, if it makes you feel better, and I’ll keep saying it isn’t, and we will be stuck like this.
I’m sitting on excess anima right now and I have not turned war mode on once since the expansion launched. If 500 anima were a big deal then I’d be struggling to keep up right now
Then you prove my point: If you can get that anima outside of WM that easily (I can’t, but let’s use your example), there’s no reason to also be providing it in WM for one faction.
I struggle to get that anima every week as a super casual player. Multiple players have agreed with me. You’re using your experiences as fact, which is fine I guess, but it’s not everyone’s fact. It’s yours.
Points to Horde camping Nazjatar 24/7 making dailies impossible to do.
“Just turn off WM lul”
Yeah no.
Imo, put the portal to Oribos IN the safe zone. Remove the invisibility when leaving safe zone. Problem solved.
I find it really interesting that I’m pointing out a problem with sharding, and vocalizing more than once that I do not have an issue with dying, nor world PvP. That sharding literally made it so people couldn’t engage. And you’re talking about how someone cannot handle logic. Pointing out a flaw in a systematic environment where the idea is that people who wish to engage should be able to, but are being denied that because servers literally cannot handle it, is not some kind of logic loophole or me saying the Alliance should lose something.
It’s me saying that sharding has made “pvp solutions to pvp problems” a thing of the past. As I’ve said before, imagine if your alt gets ganked. That’s fine. You want some vengeance. I would too. You fly out to where your alt is being camped only to find out you’re in a totally different shard. Now you can’t exact vengeance. Thus, that pvp solution has been taken from you by the game. This is the same problem.
Dedicated anima farming can easily get you over 1000 anima in just a couple of hours. I won’t deny I’ve been playing more than a little casually, but a majority of my time up until yesterday was spent farming for my legendary, and not farming anima, and I’m still having zero issues keeping up
If you’re having an issue with anima then you’re simply making poor use of your time
