Again, you were meant to toggle on WPVP because you enjoy WPVP and not because of incentives, not sure how that’s interesting? That was the same premise of PvP servers was it not? lol
Yes, absolutely. I would rather have a hard time finding people in the world to fight, but know they’re there for the right reason, than have a bunch of target dummies in there for no reason other than bonuses. It is completely counter intuitive to the idea of warmode.
Warmode was brought in because it gave people on PvP realms an option to opt out of it but remain on the same server with their friends. It goes both ways. The people who are in warmode should only be in warmode because they want to be. Not because of a dumb bonus.
I agree. I think a lot of people should bring up this point on the Bug and/or Technical forum as something that needs addressing. Even point out this blue post and say that it does not seem to be fixing the issue as intended.
I like how these hordies trying to discuss with their legs crossed and cups of tea in hand, like intricacies of Maw wpvp, whereas back in BFA, when there were legion invasion quests on Broken Isles, herds of horde were murdereing leveling lowleves with zero reaction from blizzard. No hotfixes for you guys, turn off wm, thoughen it up.
Alliance having increased incentive over Horde isn’t an advantage
Either you’re playing stupid or you’re gaslighting.
Did you actually read what I said, or just think you know what I said. Your response doesn’t make any sense.
Why do you even care what their reasons are for pvping? Why does it even matter to you?
I like how you’re not just having a civil conversation and trying to throw jabs at us for having a simple conversation with others on the issue at hand that we’re trying to bring to light lol? Not sure why you feel the need to add this into the thread considering you’ve already come to an agreement WM bonuses shouldn’t be a thing, and you clearly didn’t care for the thread from the very beginning when you made your first comment.
We’re literally just trying to have a civil conversation amongst other people about the problem at hand. Also, no one said you should like herds of horde murdering you, but if you sign up for WM you should 100% expect lowbie ganking, that has been a trend since PvP servers were a thing, and likely always will be a thing. But if there’s a genuine issue such as this one then it’s totally fine to bring it up and should be totally fine to bring it up?
Turning off WM doesn’t solve the issue when people are genuinely trying to engage in the WPVP but can’t.
this isn’t reddit you mouthbreather down votes don’t happen here.
This is the wrong question. It is not about people PvP’ing. It is about occupying space in warmode shards for the wrong reason.
If you enter warmode and you have no desire to PvP and are there for no reason other than a 30% free bonus to all things gotten, you are part of the problem. If you are in warmode because you actually like PvP, and have opted into PvP because you enjoy PvP, then you’re not.
I 100% read what you said, I don’t really know how my response didn’t make sense. Again I don’t see how my statement was interesting when you should 100% toggle on WM because you enjoy WPVP just as you joined PvP servers because you wanted to be in a WPVP server. Idk what more you want me to explain to you lol.
Wait, tell me how you can’t? Everyone has access to the same WQs generally. I can get the 1000 anima weekly done in one day by doing WQs, looting chests, and killing rares. Not only have I unlocked everything I can unlock in my covenant, but I’ve even spent 3500+ anima on COSMETIC items because there’s nothing else to use it on until next week.
I currently have 4.5k anima in reserves.
Again, this is WM off. How can you possibly not get that much through basic playing?
You seriously think that low levels turn wm on for wpvp?
Hint: it is for % exp bonus.
Please tell me why people joined PvP servers at low levels then.
Hint: Join WM because you want to be apart of WM.
Saw horde mowing down low levels alliance throughout BFA and SL.
We TuRn wPvP fOr wPvP NoT For GankS.
I can’t believe people still waste their time with the awful pvp in this game. For pvp to be fun it needs to be balanced, something blizzard will never achieve. Its clear blizzard has no interest in the betterment of their pvp system and that is never going to change.
You’re literally just ignoring what I’m saying to bring up ganking that has happened since the dawn of time in PvP servers. And, I’m really not sure how this is even a response to what I said to you by any means. It seems you just don’t really care to have a valid conversation or something, so have a nice day.
I still struggle to see your point. If they are there for the “wrong reasons” as you so aptly put it. There is nothing stopping you for pvping on them. Odds are if they are there for the “wrong reasons”, then they’re probably pretty awful at pvp in the first place, meaning you can teach them the error of their ways and camp them until they turn warmode off. A pvp solution for a pvp problem.
This is why I’m convinced you didn’t read the original post.
I will explain it again. No. We couldn’t. Alliance had over saturated the shard so thoroughly because of things like AOO, and the free honor that people were being force phased from one another and no amount of trouble shooting fixed it, which means going into an army of Alliance was insta-death because people physically could not make a group to counter attack. Multiple people have said this throughout the thread and I repeatedly state it in the OP.
If you read the original post, you would understand this.
I mean, I feel like this isn’t true. Blizz has seen some fairly balanced systems in their time, and that much is evident by many people’s preferred PVP seasons and just state of PVP in the beginning. For example I know multiple people’s PVP season was MOP, and granted I never played competitively in MOP I can say that it was fun to pvp in MOP. I also felt that, despite there being a good number of flaws here and there with artifact weapons and the RNG to some of them, Legions PVP system was actually fairly sound in comparison to many other seasons/expansions, however this is purely my opinion.
But, I will say Blizz definitely does seem to have a difficulty in actually balancing their game and the classes in them, and I wish they’d sit down revamp the classes and fine tune the numbers or something for balancing to come into play and actually be seen but that just doesn’t seem to be a common thing with them, especially not in BFA.
I will say though, for me personally I do still find PvP fun but it’s just not fun when there are obvious flaws that blizz could openly fix or address and just choose not to and a prime example was BFA’s PVP season where they decided to let things evolve organically which was horrendous.
What I am trying to convey:
there is a great injustice, which now became even more apparent and even more injustier and acute.
There are no feasible solutions until Alliance gets something huge in return to make a peace.
