15/16 6 times in a row just to have a hunter who did nothing all game while we play 1 player down the whole time. If blizz actually gave a single care the banwaves for this would be hilarious

Obvious salt aside reporting literally does nothing and these people don’t get punished. Would love to be proven wrong, but there’s 0 faith there.

did they ban that paladin wintrading into his own account? The only way you are going to see anyone get punished for cheating in this game is if you catch them typing a bad word in chat

Well… Yes, they absolutely do ban for win trading.
Whether or not it’s enough is another matter, but they do ban. They could do a much better job of it but just throwing your hands up and trying to convince people to not report it only helps the win traders.
You need to report it every time you see it happen. If you don’t report it, it doesn’t get on their logs, and nothing will happen.
These are some recent posts where people were banned for win trading. Keep in mind this is just the people who posted here after getting banned, far more likely would stay silent or wouldn’t admit to being banned for win trading.
So yes, they do ban for win trading. Saying they don’t is objectively false.
It’s also true Blizzard needs to step up. The two are not mutually exclusive. Regardless, reporting is the most important part of getting win traders banned and so if you don’t report obvious win traders they aren’t going to get banned.

They actually admitted that single reports do nothing except for names which are on a prior list ban so yeah, enough people need to report things to even generate a ticket.
I also know this from experience between the stuff I’ve seen and the excuses even the forum team give about why they ain’t doing anything about certain people. They excuse certain people they like already.

wait is this win traders and people who pay for boosts getting banned then coming on the forums to cry about it and act like they didn’t hop in discord off one of those cringe ads you see in the LFG?
I sent in a whole recorded vod of a streamer wintrading last season with twitch chat included where they were openly joking about it and they’re still walking free.
That mixed with the fact 3 really widely known blitz wintraders have yet to be banned prove that having faith in blizz to enforce their policies is wasted.

Because that’s automated. If they have to put any effort in to it they won’t bother.
There was also that mistweaver that queue-synced four of his accounts into one Blitz game. I’m not sure what happened to him though.
