Finding a group is as simple as clicking the instances you want to do a dungeon in…just like RDF…
I was never able to see partial groups with RDF and then join, with LFG tool i can.
I will argue its easier to find a group with this ability vs RDF.
Ok no all dungeons are easily accessible, so two people need to go to meeting stone. Ill yield to this being a minor issue…granted it will be easier to see if you are trying to form a group for a lesser run dungeon with LFG tool vs RDF…
SO that it? These three reasons are why you are begging for RDF? There is almost no difference other than insta ports, and the fact you can act like a jerk and get away with it.
Basically these are such weak arguments, its has to be about you being toxic not the RDF system being superior…its not, id argue its worse than the LFG tool. I mean do you argue like this in dungeon on petty non issues? This might be your issue with LFG tbh.
You didn’t bring the light the reason. You just made a bunch of false assumptions. I bet you didn’t even play Wrath the first time around. If you did you’d know that RDF was added during Wrath.
No. If you’re applying for a group in the LFG, a player can deny your request or ignore it. That can’t happen in RDF.
Not really. The RDF tool requires less management. You set it and can forget it. If you’re applying for existing groups, you can’t do that with the LFG. If you apply for several groups and your requests are either denied or ignored, you have to then go back into the tool to apply for more groups.
No, it doesn’t. LFD wasn’t brought into WOTLK until the ICC patch, which was intended to be the last content patch in the xpac before Cata, Cata however was pushed back quite a bit because it wasn’t ready, so they released Ruby Sanctum, causing the ICC patch to be the halfway point in the xpac… It was patch 3.3.0. Our characters are tuned to patch 3.4 because prior to that DKs were so overtuned and imbalanced.
Please stop with this BS. You’re acting like today’s your first day playing WoW or something. We’re on the last patch. We have dual spec. We have “last patch” talents and spell changes.
And yet you’re the one who doesn’t seem to know we started ON THE LAST PATCH. Why don’t you start a thread and cry about dual spec being rolled out before it should be? Bunch of lazy, entitled TOURISTS who can’t be a$$'d to switch specs when need be.
WOTLK was never built in the classic mindset. TBC was the final era of classic vanillia design. While WOTLK improved classes which was great i think WOTLK implemented things that slowly brought the game to what we have in retail today.
November 13, 2008- WOTLK release date
December 8, 2009 - Dungeon Finder Release Date
December 7, 2010 - Cataclysm Release date.
RDF was in WOTLK for an entire year before cataclysm came out. How could that NOT make it a wotlk feature? and it doesn’t matter if stuff got pushed back or not. Point is, it was there.
I disagree, cataclysm made a lot of bad class changes, the only class that felt better after cata pre patch was the dk. MoP was also got rid of talent trees. Also not sure when it was added but flying should of never been allowed in azeroth.
How bold of you to assume that always happens, done plenty of RDF where people talk, hell even made friends and added them and done multiple runs together.
I hope you realize the game is already patched to 3.4. it would have RDF in it already. Why aren’t yopu complaining that wrath isnt at 3.0 right now… OMG its not classic cause they already changed it, what ever will you do.
Yesterday I listed for Utgard, got an invite and said hello. No one said hello back. No one even said “gg” or “ty” when the dungeon was over. Except me. Not a word.
The idea that people will SUDDENLY be social with strangers in a dungeon because of how they got there is preposterous. It’s idiotic.
Brian Birmingham could come out and say they’re going to remove ground mounts because walking enhances “social interactions” and the anti RDFers would be like, “OMG! He’s RIGHT!”
