The Plague Event is fine. Period

Did you pull that out of your nether regions or did the aliens plant that in you during your last abduction? There was no survey done to determine how many people like it and how many people dont. Relax and dont make stuff up.

That’s not reality though. You don’t gotta agree with the folks losing their minds over this, but they can be peeved over something they don’t like.

keep your chocolate out of my peanut butter

I like suicide soda too! Im such a rebel!

Funny thing to say if there’s an opt out that people won’t participate. It’s almost as if most people will find this annoying and not fun

Whaaaaaaa

But that’s impossible, this is the Most Fun™ event ever in WoW!

Stop framing other people’s preferences as “forcing you to not have fun”

It’s a meaningless stance and could just as easily be flipped around and pointed at you.

This line of “reason” pops up a lot on these forums and it’s pretty silly.

Things not going your way is not the same thing as everyone who disagrees being against you and your fun.

People are getting pretty worked up over what is a limited time event in a video game… try to relax and have a little fun.

Well, we can thank the current dumpster fire of devs for that. PvP used to have unique mounts, gear, heirloom armor, titles, etc.

Not to mention, a lot of the game was removed with us being told it was so they could better balance everything, and we’ve all seen how that turned out–they’re less successful at balance through borrowed power than they were prior to Legion.

Its not one of a kind…
It happened and was shutdown before, it was deemed a complete failure.
This is yet another re-hash of the tired programming of almost a decade ago.

It is more valid, because it does not affect yours.

Than refund me a week of my paid time for the time I paid for yet can’t play

I look forward to the event. I hope there’s no opt out. Time will tell though.

But you can play though.

Did you play it last time? Yes you can log in. You will get killed and the only thing you can do is play this forced PvP garbage.

Blizzard fas to force it or bribe people to do it because no one would otherwise. Yeah there may be 20 people screaming on the forums they want it, but no one else does. Might even get cancelled like last time - proving me right yet again

the amount of crying and whining over a temp event is almost as good as the event itself. cant wait to fill every zone with ghouls

No it is not, and they are rightfully angry that you think it is ok to force them to deal with your garbage griefing.

That’s a yikes from me, dawg.

And Greifers like this are the reason we hate this event. If we log in Blizzards gives the unrestricted access to screw with our characters and playtime. Blizzard endorsing it just makes it worse. I thought they learned their lesson last time.

I guess the new devs are too stupid to learn from the past or too desperate to try to bring in subs by offering an old even to the kiddies playing today who missed it last time. They couldn’t even make a new one yet people are foaming at the mouth for recycled content.

At least Classic was worth it - and they had to invest time into it. This is a straight up bs copy

Who said anything about forcing them to deal with our ‘garbage griefing’? And who’s even doing said griefing to begin with. It’s a PrePatch event that the GAME DEVS created for the player base. And if people genuinely want to see this event because they may not have done it when it first was implemented, or they genuinely think it sounds fun to them. That is their opinion, and they have a right to that opinion, it’s not them griefing, it’s them simply saying hey this seems fun I want this to be a thing.

EDIT: I know others have already said this, but it’s as if you can’t go to any other city and just ignore the event entirely. There are other cities that have literally everything Orgrimmar has, including boralus and Zuldazar, yet for some reason that’s just a huge no go. And if that isn’t the case they can easily fix that it’s really not that big as people are making it out to be it’s a small little pre-patch event that some people genuinely want to see.

Fine isn’t the word i’d use. Awesome maybe. Great if you’re slightly annoyed by the inconvenience is fair. Fine is what your girlfriend says when you ask if she wants Taco Bell for the third time that week.
