The Plague Event is fine. Period

Legion was not perfect but it has some amazing memories for me.

Tbh the PVP scene will need therapy by the end of this games life cycle if it’s worse then it is right now.

To be fair, pvp might end sooner than this game if this keeps up.

Shame too. Hopefully they finally give them the vendors they deserve. PVE players hate PVP but to be honest I doubt PVP players like PVE and BfA basically held you at gunpoint if you wanted to even compete.

If it follows the Wrath event, only the second part was the really annoying one. For that just use your garrison and queue for content from there. I remember this even back with Wrath and honestly, It wasn’t all that fun near the end. So I might dip out on the back end of the event, not like these things ever give anything cool and I have already seen this event about 10 years ago.

how dare you get in the way of grown men harassing others to feel validated, you are simply a wimp for consuming a game that you pay a monthly sub for to enjoy it. Opting out is not an option because they need to harass everyone to feel better about their pathetic life.

what a mean guy this thread starter is am i right guys?

The majority of players are fine with the pre patch event. Majority should trump the minority when it comes to WoW

The end was my favorite: the zones were assaulted by necro ships; there was an event vendor and drops like the haunted memento, as well as a few pieces of gear.

With a little less angst, this is essentially how I feel about the event. The scourge stuff is awesome! The rewards are total garbage, though. Was really disappointed to see what we were getting.

Some unique mogs/rare mounts/things to actually farm for our mains would have been nice. Ah well.

I was going to post on this discussion forum, but no arguments, so…

See, I don’t get this. It’s likely why I have trouble finding permanent guilds and should think about starting my own.

I love both PvP and PvE. Not just dabbling in one or the other but full on love M+, love Arena, love questing, love BG’s, love World PvP and even enjoy raiding even tho it’s my least played activity.

Hell I’ve even thought about getting into battlepets.

I even enjoyed Archeology fora while until it’s stopped getting any effort…

I like professions. Lore. Transmog.

Anyways, my point being U wonder why so many people are at polar ends with either loving one and hating the other or vice versa?

While I enjoyed this event back then, and don’t mind the inconvenience it will cause again, at the same time, I am disappointed it’s not something new and unique using modern art and tech to make it something like the Legion prepatch.
Over a decades old textures with the old ugly gear is not something I really want for a prepatch event. Exclusive shinies are one of the things I look forward too, and it looks like we aren’t getting that.

Cause PvP is garbage, in my opinion, and rarely balanced for anything but FoTM style gameplays, it’s also not well supported at all, so to do it you basically have to do PvE anyways, and why bother?

There’s no real rewards to PvPIng, the achivement points are meaningless, the areana scores are meaningless unless your in the absolute top brackets.

And especially in BFA, with all the corruptions running around, tanks literally one shotting people with twilight devistation, and all that jazz… why bother?

Narratively it doesn’t make sense either, the alliance and horde should have stopped fighting ages ago.

This reminds me of the covenant discussion just a different issue and the sides were swapped.

Yeah, this is a far cry from the awesomeness that was Legion prepatch in terms of reward/fun.

So many hours spent killing people in Darkshore. Zergs, solo/stealth kills, prowling around looking for people to kill and things to do. Rares. All kinds of good stuff.

Not to mention the actual invasions. Leveled so many alts and had so much fun with that bit.

Im not against the event at all. I think its a fun change for a few weeks.
However, players still have things to do in town. So I think it would
be a good thing if they made the AH, and the bank, off limits for
the event.

Nope. But for a mount yes.

It’s only going to be for a couple of hours at a time. Does need tuning. This will be the 3rd scourge event. There was one for BC as well, which I was not there for. But some of the quests from it seemed left over (around Light’s Chapel) in WotLK.

1 point…its not one of a kind, if this is the second time they are doing it…just saying
