It’s a playstyle taking advantage of a gap in War Mode to attack players like me. Players like me clearly do not want to PvP, but someone found a loophole and wants to exploit it. That’s griefing, because the system that’s supposed to protect PvE from PvP encounters is not functioning properly because PvP encounters are still happening.
To you, maybe. Players like me and players that like PvE can engage with NPCs, both hostile and friendly, and make memorable moments with the. Remember Meerah? She was the best thing of BFA, and she was strictly a PvE encounter.
So the proper solution is not to try? Sharding the event into PvP-friendly and PvE-only isn’t going to kill the event. The PvP-friendly side will have plenty of people to fight on both sides, but everyone in that shard will WANT to be there. Meanwhile, the PvE side of it is dealing with NPC zombie invasions that can be a bit more predictable.
So Exile’s Reach characters have a recourse to actually do anything in their Capitol? They get ported right to the front steps and in the middle of a pack of ghouls.
I have killed the Old Gods, defeated Titans, defeated the Original Lich King, defeated the Legion, fought along side of the Loa of Death, killed the Aspect of the Earth…why do you think Zombies are “sCArY” for the players? Outside of the regular NPCs, the players would consider this a typical Tuesday night. You can’t say it’s suppose to scare us, when we have dealt with much bigger fish than the undead.
Perhaps just make the Time NPC’s near darnassis and the forsaken city immune and un-killable and restrict them from transfering sick people thru time. Then they can have a safe space if they are smart enough to use it. But naaa I think they will die upon the hill of orgm and stormwind.
Played this on the PTR, but I was thinking back to city defense (think SC2 tower defense) like we are instanced into SW and just outside are Forsaken spawns, necropolis, summoners, raising the dead for a huge zerg rush that we have to fight off periodically.
