The Plague Event is fine. Period

That’s why I said I wasn’t sure about respawn time. It might have also been only during the quest chain where you get everyone’s orders and finished with “kill 12 scourge”

The other issues with getting airborne still apply. Getting out of range long enough to mount. If you’re already flagged, hope others aren’t flagged as well so they can shoot you down.

Flying is still NOT a guarantee. Yes, its safer, IF you can get up there.

The event needs work to be something the majority can look back on and go “Remember the pre-launch for SL …”

As it stands now, it’ll be just as “remembered” as the one for Wrath. IE “hated and loved.” at the same time.

Well i am still looking, so you have fun and prepare for the upcoming zombie apocalypse.

Very well thanks!
Enjoying a quality brew here in my personal lodge.

I appreciate the dialog and information I’m getting from your convo with Verdre. Thanks to both of you but especially you Verdre for the intel.

It’s clearly not “one of a kind” if this is the second time they’re putting it on.

And it’s clear you have no idea what a “timed event” is.

The desperate cries for this event to have no War Mode protections or PvP opt-out is by a bunch of children wanting to hold the playerbase hostage for thie own amusement. It’s telling that every time you respond with “Isn’t this event totally fun? Why would too many players opt out if it’s fun?” with “It needs to affect everyone and no one should have a choice!”

It’s almost like they know that players don’t like being made into helpless victims. That players will get tired of it and opt out.

What’s the difference then between being able to opt-out and log off? Same effect as far as the event goes.

what is in these major cities, that you can’t access elsewhere?

why are people choosing to view themselves as “victims”?

why does anyone need blizzard to spend more time on development, when the players who aren’t interested in participating can simply group up and help each other out with portals etc?

Because we don’t want to engage in PvP content. It’s that easy.

What’s the difference to the event if I log off versus opting out?

you don’t need to.

how often do you hang out in wintergrasp? …or ashran? …or tol barad? …gurabashi? …dm arena? etc etc
…or do you just log out simply because those places exist?

what’s the difference if you just avoid the area, like you do with all those other areas you avoid?

The content I want to do isn’t in PvP areas. It’s in the Capitol cities.

I don’t want to deal with gank squads and greifers. War Mode is supposed to be my shield for that.

which content would that be?

Exile’s Reach and the prepatch quest lines that branch from it.

so… if the zombie events aren’t up 24/7, how are you being prevented from doing anything?

or are you going to choose to want to do your quests only during times when the zombies are active?

Healer is at the front door of org. She will cure you just by running near her. It’s not really a death trap anymore. You should try it again. It’s been toned way down.

Does War Mode protect me from PC zombies?

Protect, nope, but at least you can get the infection cured.

Then that’s not the solution.

I have no qualms with the PvE side of the event. The infection is fine. But players shouldnt be able to spread it intentionally. Even if they won’t budge on playable zombies however, War Mode should protect me from any and all player-based aggression.

The whole point of the event is to strip your safe space away, and make you really feel the impact of the events that have unfolded. No solution needed.
