The Plague Event is fine. Period

Yeah not being able to play with the new leveling system sounds fun!

Okay Boomer.

Edit: Since you’re just gonna say some more nonsense in a minute about what the world is like for people that you are not, I called you a boomer because that’s what they do.

Aren’t most if not all those wanting to opt out simply asking for a way to do so but not asking for the entire event to be canceled?

Opting out would kill the event like war mode, dead and empty.

I’m convinced this is literally just QQ for the sake of QQ at this point.

Oh man blizzard didn’t offer me another mount to add to my ridiculous mount pile so i’m gonna stomp my feet and cry on the forums. How are you ever going to keep up with Asmongold now?

It’s not like the one from Wrath… it is the one from Wrath…

stop looking at it as pvp.

it’s more akin to getting slaughtered by Deathwing.

So what am I supposed to do as an "older generation? Just die? should everyone over 40, just quit their jobs so you can have it?

Again, you made a choice to spend $100k on an education and I am assuming it is not working out, and yet 100% of that is people over a certain age. Did Mr. Boomer come and make you sign the loan papers? I mean, you aren’t even 1% responsible for that? It is just all “older people’s” fault?

This economy is broken, no doubt. That is why there is no middle class really, and a ton of people 30-50 are out of a job. based on what you are saying, you are fine with that because somehow they are scum. No one should talk down to you and say you are worthless, nor should the young not have chances to move up in life as they wish too. But man, you sound even more bitter than my parents, and they are straight up Boomers.

As for how good I have it: before talking to you good people here, I spent an hour talking with my wife about what cuts to our budget/expenses we might be making soon in the next months. She no longer has a career, as most of those positions were eliminated during this pandemic, and now are being filled by younger and cheaper workers, with skills that transition better from office to “everything” online.

The woman has 20+ years in FP&A and has spent time and money keeping relevant in her career, but companies are cutting costs. We lived within our means, and own a small 1700 sq foot house, in a fairly normal expense area. We both grew up fairly poor, so we don’t buy a lot. But I have two elementary school age kids, and to keep those two jobs of ours, we had to spend a mega-ton of $$ for daycare, and still do.

Should I drown those kids, poison my wife, and then let you have my house so you can get on with life?

I do see the points of Gen Z and Millenials, but in this instance, maybe your issues are not that older people are keeping you down. Maybe, just maybe, you are an A$$hole, and really are that token “entitled brat”?

i am sure you do not see it that way. But hey, I really don’t care right? iam living the dream right now.

the ptr seems to disagree with this opinion.

there are quite a few differences which have been pointed out

You can assume whatever you like, your opinion does not matter to me.

Imagine thinking this isn’t proving my point, nothing short of a pandemic has put you at risk.

The fact is:

The people crying about the pre-patch event are boomers. Don’t @ me bro.

I was generalizing about a generation as a whole, not everyone is included. Stop taking things so personally. You really need to thicc up your skin.

he’s kinda right, only thing thats same is the concept of infection and zombies, but they made it slightly different

Imagine not really doing anything in life yet, and thinking you are owed the world, not immediately, but yesterday. That only your issues matter and ef everyone else.

I’ll at you when I want, all day, everyday, bro.

As somebody who fully loathes PvP and has never once turned on WM, I’m fine with this. It’s a limited time event; have some fun.

Keep your head up, hug your wife and kids and don’t worry about an internet troll trying to push your buttons.

High five from another over 40 that chose the military to help foot education costs. There are opportunities out there.

I thought you didn’t care karynn? I mean you are starting to type, then stopping, then starting, then stopping, rinse and repeat.

A lot of wasted energy for one that doesn’t care.

GOOD. Let the bad parts of wow die off.

And here you are again, can’t make a argument with facts so you resort to personal insults.

You claim that I haven’t done anything in life, claiming that I think I’m owed something, but you don’t know anything about me. I never made this personally against you. You did that all on your own.

Like I said before, all any one in the younger generations are asking for are opportunities. If you think that’s entitlement you’re missing the point entirely. Grow up buddy. You’ve taken something that wasn’t personally about you and twisted it ENTIRELY to be about you. That’s EXACTLY the behavior I’m talking about when it comes to the people crying about this event.

Take a step back for a minute, get a grip, and face reality.

I hear ya. The conversations at work with my coworkers are much better than this.

Yep, band together and deny younger people a better life. Good job, you pwned the libs or something.

How did the new and exciting generational war make its way in here? Old people grumble at young people, and young people whine at old people. It has been going on since forever… nothing special.
