That said I want this to be toned down so that you can move about the city without being instagibbed, I want you to have healers to heal you, I want to be able to heal you myself (on my healers), and I want you to be able to do your quests and get away without it being an 8 corpse run task.

I’m not asking for you to accept the event as is, I’m asking you to try to ask for the event to be better while still being really cool for the rest of us. If they let me dispel the disease I promise I’ll be out there healing you guys hours at a time. If they scale the zombies correctly then no one dies to a one-shot.

I definitely didn’t mean to gloss over this. I liked the post but let me quote it because this is something that could make the event so much more immersive. There were a couple of great suggestions in the other thread as well:

• There should be established safe zones with a literal barrier of holy energy radiating nonstop that instantly destroys anyone infected and cleanses anyone carrying the infection. It is well within the capabilities of priests and paladins to do this and no way would a military force not respond to something like this in that manner.
• There should be squads of immunized paladins pushing into infected areas and slaughtering ghouls. This is exactly what would happen as the law went to establish order.

I feel that you are correct that there could be tweaks to the event that would make it more attractive to a wider range of players. I would love for everyone to take part but it’s still okay if some don’t want to do that and it certainly goes without saying that those that don’t want to participate shouldn’t be insulted or treated badly for it.
