The only thing I wish they would change is the Re-speccing mechanic

I think you’re unclear on the concept of sharing opinions if the opinion is something you don’t like.

I don’t think the respec cost or mechanic should be changed, that doesn’t mean I can’t consider and try to understand the perspective of someone who does. Nor do I think that entitles me to bully them by assuming they don’t know what they are talking about and telling them to go back to retail.

Oh this still happened and will happen again. Maybe not the most casual guilds, and not for easy fights, but on tougher bosses, if one spec or talent gives a class an advantage that helps the raid down the boss, you will still see players respeccing for that fight.

If you’re tired of reading opinions of opinions, especially when the OP requested such, then we do not need your commentary of opinions of opinions.

Why are you trying to censor forum criticism? If silly words on a gaming forum are causing you distress, there is a deeper issue going on than paying for spec changes. OP asked for thoughts and is getting them.

I’m happy to read other people’s opinions. I am not happy to watch a member of the community get bullied by the same community that cries about how it misses “a sense of community”.

Although I do agree that respeccing should cost less… He’s right. Healing as Shadow in Vanilla was not only common, but more likely than holy while leveling.

you dont have to spec prot to tank on a warrior. you dont have to spec holy to heal on a priest either for all but some raid content.

you do have to spec the optimal to play optimally in raids though.

even so you can get away with speccing something different in the first few phases on most classes and still be able to do your job.

if you have the be optimal all the time you should get used to the idea that you will be respeccing and it will take some gold to do so.

choosing a spec should be something that you really want to keep for its part of the role playing in the mmorpg. losing those elements with a “respec anywhere” system is crap.

I called someone an idiot because they literally ignored facts presented and they reported me for harassment… got a 72 for that… I honestly think that is the point of these troll posts… just to get people forum banned…

Again, someone coming into a ‘community’ and asking them to change their culture is not part of the community – they are a troll.

Why do you assume I’m talking about leveling?

You know: calling out someone for a stupid idea is not really toxic. He brought a bad idea that many people, ever since Classic was announced, has said no to. She is beating a dead horse with an opinion only like 10% of the wow community agrees with.

Let’s be honest, the only trolls here are you and Heralf

You and me and Heralf make 3 then.

Why would we assume you are talking about when everyone already has their pre-raid bis?

Criticism – “I disagree, here is xy and z on why I disagree.”

Bullying – “Go back to retail. You don’t know what you are taking about.”

In the end though, the subject is irrelevant because no such change is going to be made. So, let’s agree to disagree.

I’m glad we agree!

So if someone disagrees with your opinion: They are trolls? Nice logic.

I want classic exactly the same as it was !!!
Hey can you change this ???
Even before it released already people are contradicting themselves.
You either want Classic same as it was before OR you want a modified classic that has QoL changes from retail.

No. Terrible Idea. Respeccing is gold sink, it helps stall inflation and keep the economy thriving. Makes your choices matter more, and your build is more unique since someone else cant just switch specs to do your role on the fly without spending a good amount of coin.

I hated the respec fee when I had to fork over 50g once or twice a week. But I don’t think it should be changed. I liked that people had the identity of whatever spec they were primarily without willy nilly changing whenever they pleased.
