just let me trade upgrades. i have enough of a backbone to tell people to bugger off if i dont want to trade it.
i dont think my guild would do this because they’re really cool and nice, but some guildmates talk about the days of gearing certain roles first. i cant remember but it was like, healers get dibs, then dps, then tank. im not giving an actual upgrade away for that. id like the option to give upgrades away if i dont actually want it though.
Sorry personal loot is here to stay. Devs already said they won’t change it in a recent interview. They should change trading restrictions over ilvl rather than bringing back master loot
exactly. keep it personal loot but let us trade upgrades if we dont want it.
I’d be happy with this.
No thanks. I never liked being told to give my upgrade to someone else. I’m good with sharing but if you steal the food off my plate, expect to get your hand bitten off to the nub.
With ML it was never yours in the first place… Nobody is stealing from you. Dishonest raid leaders was always a reality though…
I agree with this statement.
Let’s not jump into making everything guild perks. It just needs to be an option. It doesn’t have to be default, but it needs to be there again.
Master loot for guild groups should come back (aka what they had in legion), it was fine then that even my super casual heroic guild used it in antorus.
blizzard hates it because ML drama requires them to to actually hire vaguely competent gm staff to address the resulting loot-related tickets.
Can’t be dishonest with a feature that has been removed because of an excess of dishonest people. Pugs ALWAYS got the short end for main raiders and often they wouldn’t make the loot rule clear at the start. People would finish runs and get nothing but the experience.
Been around for both modes. No thank you times a million
Which is why people put up the suggestion for ML to only be enabled in 100% guild runs. Personally with all the crying, I’d be happy if they just removed the ilvl restriction on trading loot to one another.
Exactly… The whole point of the thread, on both ideas.
Amazing how many people try to say master looting means more loot. They tried to pull this nonsense WOD. Don’t use PL, master looting gets more items. Wrong then and wrong now. You only get more items if your the master looter and his little group of buddies.
PL is the best thing to ever happen to wow.
So then the solution is to remove the ilvl restriction from PL to trade gear. It hits your bags, you get to decide what to do with it.
Amazing how nobody in the entire thread has ever said that…
No ML = slow gear progression = more time staying subbed. I honestly would like longer raid tiers than these 4-5 month
Ion has dug his pig headed heels in and will die alone and arrogant on the personal loot hill.
Nothing will change it.
I am not saying ML for all, but actual raid guilds should 100% have the option, anything else is just Ion swinging his arrogance around.
I agree on this part. ML should be Guild Exclusive Option and not Premade Groups of people from other realms who are not within a Guild/Realm you are on.
If they made it so any Premade Group could use ML, it would be far worse than the Issues with a ML within a Guild that abuses the Option.
