The #nochanges slippery slope argument is a logical fallacy

I’m not for changes to Classic. And neither are Blizzard.

“oh but if money is involved”

no, they know already what will happen if they do change something substantial. People will go back to private servers.

That’s rich coming from the retail trolls swarming Classic forums.
Retail players labeling facts as trolling when you guys spammed wall of no - YIKES.

You lost. Now be gone trolls.

Okay so really your issue with me is not that I posted the wall of no.

It’s that you think vanilla was a perfect game and that I ever dared to criticize anything about it ever, even during vanilla. So basically you are just a fanatic.

I also find it ironic you threaten to go back to a pserver which from what I understand also offer something very far from a vanilla experience.

Except people aren’t dumb.

For instance when I’m saying: “fix your bugs please dear blizzards” I mean: “fix that shaite that makes some model of an orc stuck between visually unstuckable objects in a world where you can stuck ONLY while you used sprint”. Not ADD MORE SHAITE WHERE I CAN PLAY ALONE AND BE BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY SNOWFLAKE AND ALSO PONDER TO MY ONLY NEEDS!!!1

Or: make your GUI consistent and don’t let it be as unfinished as in Vanilla, cause vanilla wasn’t a finished game, it was full of bugs and leftovers that you didn’t clear and nobody would miss those or in proper mind think that they are ruining someone’s gameplay, doesn’t mean that I’m asking for balance change or adding more features like transmog or pet battles.

I only want them fixing their own game. Finishing it for good. Make Classic FInal since they already started it.

I smell…

I play both.

At least I don’t play someone who supposedly quit Classic and is still posting sad little snarky comments on the forums.

Yeah,

we got that already

There wasn’t any need to elaborate further you simply read the OP and it’s clear

It’s weird that there’s not a binary choice between retail classic in terms of changes. So no we don’t have that already.

You need a hug, buddy?

Incorrect, The wall of No was to deter any discussion about legacy servers back then. It was pasted over and over to deter the very idea to Blizzard.

You are assuming too much and keep changing the topic that I replied to you about. About productive discussion. This is what we are talking about.

Also, I never said I would do anything. I made a generalization that people would. With what been discovered on Classic there is now a more ideal method to make those very p-servers more “Blizz Like” than ever before. Of course people will do that if things go south here.

Bunch of other stuff. Great changes like layering? and a bunch of other stuff? lmao. First of all layering isn’t really a “change” it’s something they did because of the unexpected realm population issues, and most of the layering has been taken out, except for some realms and as soon as the issues are resolved they too will be. Aside from changes they made for technical reasons, name a BUNCH of other stuff. You can’t. The only people who support it are people who are to stupid to realize they just want to turn it into retail faster than it happened before.

Oh boy, here we go again. I’ve already addressed this. And you’re changing my words, BTW. I never claimed to be right nor told anybody that they’re wrong.

And your excuse of “well, it’s not even Vanilla, LOL” is not an excuse to keep making it more non-vanilla. That’s what I don’t understand. And if you keep saying that/using that, that’s all that’s needed to create individuals like the OP, who’s advocating for all changes, BTW. Because “it’s not Vanilla, LOL”. It won’t be, if we cater to this excuse. Can we stop trying to make it more non-Vanilla? Why is that so hard?

It’s because retail has spoiled them and they want it just as easy, soloable, and time-saving as possible. It’s too cumbersome to play a older version of WoW.

Precisely why I created my thread: You think you did, but you didn’t. Why can’t they admit they can’t live without the Retail features?

You’re confusing the people who wanted Classic for years with Retail players who never wanted it, but were given Classic for free. Of course they’re going to ask for all kinds of changes.

Retail player calling me a Retail player, lol.

I didn’t even know what a “Wall of No” was until after Classic was announced.
