It’s a joke that you play as a night elf!
They belong on Kalimdor, where they have a thousand year long connection to the land.
The joke is EK was once part of Kalimdor. So it would basically be the Kaldorei reclaiming their old lands again

It’s wrong! Kalimdor is no longer a super continent, and the night elves are NEVER moving to the Eastern Kingdoms, and they DO NOT belong on the Dragon Isles.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the piece of land they’ve built on was literally not there at the end of the beginning of the expansion. This is fresh unclaimed land and the night haves have staked their claim to it.

Everyone who lives on the Dragon Isles were at Amirdrassil’s bloom party and were cool with the Night Elves claiming it, so there’s no dispute there.
You don’t have to do anything. You can leave.
